Looking at the video, Colback went is studs showing and the impact was a good few inches above the ankle, it could have beeb a very nasty injury.

We know what he is like. Always been too much of a hot head. He would have been even more wound up before today’s game with history between him and our fans since he left. Shame really as he had the ability to be a top player. At one time he was rated better than Henderson.

Thought you did well in the first half, but Roberts coming on any half time was the difference against 10 men.

Have to say you are better than Southampton.

55 years since my first game. Ainsworth style is so anti football.

Hope we see some football this half. This has been a very poor advert for the Championship so far. We have been absolutely awful.

Ok we have made two changes, both due to training ground injuries.

Burstow in place of Dack. This means we start with a forward for the first time since the forth round of the FA cup.

Huggins for Cirkin is a like for like change.

A lot of players, like Roberts on the bench to come on and change the game.

I am as t aware that any pub didn’t allow women. As far as I know it is illegal to bar entry on the grounds of gender. Send me a pm and I will raise the issue with the city council.

Seems like both sets of fans are feeling confident for this one.

As we have scored in 30 of our last 32 league games I can’t see this being a goalless draw.

So I am going for. Sunderland win 2-1.

The way things are just now if you don’t score against us you lose, to win you will need at least two goals.

I have seen a few people talk about QPR getting into the face of other teams. Does this mean you try and press high up the pitch and play a high line?

Yes I remember the days when watching football could be an how shall we say an interesting past time.

Millwall away in the old Den was often very interesting. The other ground I remember with less than friendly fans was Notts Forest. I do t think we were as bad as many back then but that might be because I never got involved in any bother.

To be fair I am talking about the football over the last year, over 5 games. It is good to watch even if we lose. It might be that the contrast to the absolute rubbish we had been watching for the previous 10 years make the current style of play so much better.

Yes I am confident but not that confident we will get close to the Peter Reid season when we won the league by a mile and as I have said top 6 is my prediction, not top 2. The thing is having so many young players we will come a cropper a few times this season.

In terms of where we are in the “project”, we are probably at the point where we will have our youngest team. Each year from now the average age will increase as the kids get older. Some will leave to be replaced by new kids but there will be more of an established team.

We are moving in the right direction long may it continue. However this is football and all fans know that it has a habit of give us a kick up the backside, especially when you are enjoying it too much.

One of the lads who helps run this site was on one of our podcasted “What the Falk” that gave a good balanced discussion about the prospects for tomorrow’s game, worth a listen. Can anybody point me to a similar podcast from a QPR viewpoint?

Well yes after a 5-0 win against Southampton any fan base in the country would be very confident, some over confident. If you look at other thread you will see that there are just as many saying that it will be a very tough game and they will be happy to get a point. That is the beauty of fans we all have opinions.

You can still get Double Maxim. The head brewer set up a new company called The Maxim Brewy and took the recipe for Double Maxim with him when Vaux closed.

About two years the Vaux name was also bought by a couple of locals and they now do a very good range of beers and have a tap room opposite the new Tesco supermarket on the way from the Stadium of Light metro station to the ground. But be careful a lot of the beers are 6% or more.

So to summarise, it would appear that you are happier than you thought you were going to be before the season started and Ainsworth has changed his tactics to suit the players you have.

This place certainly seems to be a happier place than my last visit for our game last season.

I have popped on to this board for the last two games against you and, in the main had a good friendly discussion, so here goes.

How are you feeling about your start to the season and you newish manager (he wasn’t in charge last time we played you).

Ainsworth and Sunderland have always had a bit of a love hate relationship, loved how he got results on a shoestring and his kind words about Sunderland, but hated his style of play and the thuggery he used At Wycombe.

For us the transfer window is being judged as a success, leaving us with an even younger team that last year, the average age of the starting eleven is about 22 years and one month. A lot of kids with massive talent and the home grown Chris Rigg only 16 and two goals already.
