You mean our passionate fans will just walk out miserably on 80 minutes, tutting and muttering under their breath, leaving 8 thousand happy clappers to clap the team off after another disaster? How could you make such a suggestion 🤔

The protests will definitely begin today, if we lose again.

I have a strange feeling that we will win this game. We are dead and buried, relegated already, RM here to stay anyway, fans ready to protest. The pressure is almost off in that case, we expect to lose. Watch them perform today and be attacking and aggressive, against a Spurs side also struggling. RM and the team will know that we have to really go for it today, otherwise the place will turn very toxic. That challenge may give them some energy?

We will probably get beat 4-1, but just a feeling!

St Mary's Re-development: (yet) more bollux from SR
at 17:19 13 Dec 2024

So our owners and board, are ambitious and forward thinking after all, with plans to expand the stadium and make us into a super power.

Put away all the protest flags guys. WALOB. They must think we are stupid.

I'm not going. Getting beat every week in the PL is enough for me. It's free to watch on TV. We will get thrashed. There will likely be loads of glory hunting idiots in the home end. I don't want to hear that lot celebrating in my face, thinking they're clever beating us again.

Rumour suggests terrible news
at 18:27 12 Dec 2024

As I have said continuously since sacking Ralph, if you want change for the better at Saints, you have to get rid of the owners. All the while they are here, nothing will change. RM is playing the way that the club want. Keep sacking the manager if we like, but as I keep saying nothing will change because the people at the very top, are still here doing their thing.

Good times. Loved the Dell. Miss that era. It was us against them.

I think Lallana as player / manager is a good call. Clubs often get a big lift when a team mate takes over and all the pressure is released.

When you see how

They try to do one thing. And that's make money. They are complete assh0les who couldn't give a f@ck about the fans.

They buy cheap, with the hope that we can sell players on for a profit. Instead of buying Smith Rowe for 30 million and 35 million pound striker like Bournemouth and Fulham do, we buy a Blackburn reject for 7 million and Villa's 4th reserve striker. We buy young players.who aren't good enough yet, with one thought only and that's to make money.

RM will inevitably go, just like Jones, Selles and Ralph before him. Just like wilcox and those before him. But nothing will change until we get these owners out. They do not do things in the best interest of SFC. They are here to.make.money for themselves, and they are doing a terrible job.

Glad to hear your thoughts on him. I have always liked him. Vastly experienced Premier League manager. He knows how to organise the team, gets clean sheets, no nonsense get the job done type of guy. Just what we need right now in my opinion. I remember many massive Everton wins against the top clubs, taking Everton to 6th one year? But I have my concerns that these disastrous owners will go for a lower league wannabe again like the West Brom.manager.

The Saints fans are numb. After the joy of last season, it's like "here we go again. We knew the joy would be short lived and back to the misery". There is also a nagging feeling that RM gave us the joy if Wembley and he was part of us being here.

However, I agree with you. Our fans are far too passive. I feel that the owners and board are ultimately responsible and need to be protested against. Two relegations in three years!!! And we are just going to accept this and do nothing??? They will start getting twitchy at least if they see fan unrest. Respect has to be earned. They are just taking the p!ss out of us, because they think.our fans are so mild and weak that they can do what they like.

I agree we are almost certainly down. But by that logic, we as well keep Martin, if we are already down. But I like Moyes. He won the European Cup with West Ham and saved them from relegation both times he went there. And West Ham are worse now. Everton fans see him.findly from his time there.

Nope, better to cause mayhem in the stadium and for them to see the anger. If fans just stay away, the owners will blame the cold or Premier league apaphy for fans staying away. There needs to be huge protests against the owners, getting games abandoned, making a stand.

Better to go and protest loudly at the running of the club. A few empty seats is far too easy. A quiet peaceful set of fans sitting in a silent stadium, and they have already got their money would suit them fine. Stop games, throw tennis balls on the pitch, cause mayhem and start meaning business. It's all far too easy. The Saints fans should get treated with more respect.

If we are going to make a change, and it seems inevitable now, it's Moyes for me. I am seeing some rumours that it could be him. No point bringing in an inexperienced wannabe and throwing him in at the deep end. Over to you SR. I won't hold my breath.

Russell Martin Go Now Or Stay
at 22:18 5 Dec 2024

He is doing what anyone would do. Not a chance RM gives up on millions of pounds and resigns. He is just going to say "the right things", keep the players onside and wait to be sacked and paid off. He will keep going until he is told otherwise. And because our owners are utter shite, RM has the upper hand and will.just carry.on..

It's not that I want to stick with Martin. I just know that his replacement won't be any better, just like I knew that Ralph's replacement wouldn't be any better. You could look back at my posts, if you can go back that far, and I said that sacking Ralph wouldn't change anything. I was right, things got worse. And why? Because these owners are the main culprits. They don't buy PL players, they arnt ambitious and they get every decision wrong. Sacking Martin, won't make us better, because these owners will.just keep making the same mistakes.

Nobody can answer that. But when a club is up for sale, people show interest. I don't know names obviously. Newcastle fans couldn't have answered that question. Just something or someone better than we have now.
