The best 30 seconds of my football life was when Bobby Zamora scored our winner at Wembley.
That sort of emotion is spontaneous. You wouldn’t have that feeling if you had to wait for a VAR check.
Coventry fans had that spontaneous feeling in lat seasons semi final vs Man Utd. Then they had the awful low of it being disallowed for a toe being offside.

Not films, but documentaries. I watched ‘89’ again last night. Arsenal had the league won in Feb/March, but they blew a big points lead and needed to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the last match.
The two Escobar’s is absolutely brilliant. It’s about Pablo Escobar and Andres Escobar.
If you haven’t seen it, I’d highly recommend it. |

The only time my dad would drink at home was at Christmas.
He used to put 2 or 3 bottles of Guinness by the fire before he had it. Being an old Irish fella, he said it’s meant to be drank a tad warm. He’d never have entertained Guinness Cold from a pub. [Post edited 5 Dec 12:22]

I browse on Twitter, or X or whatever you want to call it.
I browsed before Elon Musk took over, and it was mainly left wing opinions on there. People were being banned on there for saying things the left didn’t agree with.
Now Elon Musk has taken over, it’s a mixture of left leaning and right leaning opinions. The only difference I can see is that right leaning opinions are allowed now.

There was a thread during Wimbledon this year. I’d been the previous year, and was lucky enough to get 2 tickets for Centre Court on day 4 via the ballot resale. Saw Andy Murray’s last singles match at Wimbledon.
I wasn’t lucky enough to get tickets this year, but Clive offered advice to join the LTA to enhance your chances. I paid £30 for the year, and won a place via their ballot.
Today I managed to get 2 tickets to next years Men’s final. |

Can I just say how good the referee was today. He was absolutely brilliant, if Clive doesn’t give him an 8-9/10, then nobody deserves one.
He let so many 50/50s go and wave play on no matter who won them. He was a breath of fresh air. |

I was expecting to get beat today, as they’re a good young team.
We played against 10 men for 30 minutes or so, and totally dominated. We should have won to be fair.
But the biggest plus for me today is we actually looked like a team.
We have found a gem in Kieran Morgan. I think he’ll be some player.
Madsen & Varane were also solid.
Okay, we didn’t win, but I was pleased with the performance. |

There was an RMT reps meeting on Wednesday to discuss the situation. Most of us in our depot thought it was going to be called off. We were surprised at the outcome.
I still think there’s a chance it’ll be called off as more talks with management are planned via ACAS.
This is definitely not just about pay. |
