Whilst we were on Premier League duty on Sunday our women's team went to Havant to play Pompey and racked up another convincing win, this time in the cup 4-0 |

For 90% of the game he was pretty solid he made 8 saves, some of them pretty decent, but was found wanting at two crucial moments, ie suicidal roll out for the first goal and mis timing for the second. He seemed to be at sea at times in the second half coming for crosses. Discuss |
| Forum Thread | 5 Things About The Liverpool Game at 09:58 25 Nov 2024
1. The Red Wall - this has backfired on us our fans need the away fans to bounce off and that is not happening so there were large gaps of silence from the Northam End, dare I say it we need a drum and a group of ultras willing to keep going throughout the game. 2. Onuachu, showed a lot of battle, but when does he actually get the ball in the box, not his fault, but he is dropping deeper and deeper to get the ball, we need him up front, but we are never going to give him the ball so why play him, not a criticism of the player but our tactics. 3. £6.10 for 4.1% lager, ok you get 10% off for a while before kick off but that is robbery. 4. Didn't see any evidence of Liverpool fans in home areas, anyone see any incidents though. 5. We could win the cup game, |
| Forum Thread | Great Southampton V Liverpool Games Of The Past at 13:06 22 Nov 2024
Their have been some great fixtures both at the Dell & St Mary's in the past, who can remember some of them. The 4-2 game in October 1989 springs to mind, 4-1 to Saints when Liverpool were at the peak of their powers. Likewise Valentines Day 1994 when in the snow we beat them 4-2. August 2000 when 3-0 down with 17 minutes to go we came back to draw 3-3 was another memorable game. Who can remember these and what other games were classics |

Still 4 weeks to go but about 9,000 tickets still left, surprisingly the Northam End accounts for about half that number |

Seems to have had a good take up today, not many left unless they have been holding some back |

Not a bad game against Greece tonight 1-0 to England but could have swung either way |

1982- Nottingham Forest at the Dell 1-1, in front of 18,178, Forest took the lead after 14 mins and then Steve Moran from the penalty spot in the 59th minute for the equaliser, we had been in the bottom 3 t this stage since the start of September, this was the 14th game of the season and we had 15 points |
| Forum Thread | Taylor Harwood-Bellis's Father In Law To Be Revealed at 13:48 13 Nov 2024
When Taylor Harwood Bellis marries his fiancee he will be none other than Roy Keane's son in law...I had forgotten that Keane had some managerial experience so perhaps he could do a job here. I wonder whether Erling Harland will reignite the vendetta between the Haaland & Keane families next time we play Man City |
| Forum Thread | 5 Things About Wolverhampton at 09:55 11 Nov 2024
1. The trains between Oxford & Banbury were stuffed, luckily we went via London, but I believe it was absolute chaos. 2. It is far easier if you are going by train to break the journey at Birmingham for a drink or two, rather than try and find a welcoming pub in Wolverhampton. 3. Wolverhampton has to be the most unwelcoming place in the UK, the people seem to revel in being dour & unfriendly, the last smile by a local was in 1994. 4. The away section is appalling, it is the entire length of the pitch and means that you cannot get any sort of cohesive backing for the team. 5. Having said all this Molyneux isnt a bad stadium

| Forum Thread | Bizarre Incident At Molyneux at 09:32 11 Nov 2024
As the game entered the last minute of injury time at Wolves, we decided to head for the exit to make an earlier train. IN the concourse we were greeted by the sight of about 100 or so Saints supporters trying to get out of the ground through a single turnstile, with a Wolves steward refusing to open the exit gates saying it was club policy. As more Saints fans started to leave, he still refused to open the gate and things started to get heated, there were Police there who just stood around and watched, speaking to one of them he said it was nothing to do with them it is the club who decides. The steward started to taunt Saints fans a little and this notched things up. Just as it could have turned ugly, the final whistle went and the absolute **** of a steward opened the gate and people poured out. Not sure what this was all about, what was the big thing about letting people leave through an exit gate

Ralph Hasenhuttl was sacked as we went into the World cup break, that did not prove a good move, its a little different this time in that there is a 2 week break looming and not a 6 week one, but if we lose to Wolves we will go bottom do you think this might be a catalyst |
