Completely agree. Of the other names touted, I would have gone for Klopp. The only thing counting against him is his lack of Premier League experience, which Mourinho has.
If both wanted the job, both would come before Moyes in my reckoning.

It looks to me that the only reason Moyes is being appointed is because he hails from north of the border,though it must be said that most of the best managers since the war have come from Scotland;Busby,Stein,Shankly,Dalgleish come to mind. But,then again,there`s been plenty of lemons too;Ally McLeod,McLeish,Billy McNeill,Souness,Strachan to name a few.
As has been pointed out already,Moyes has no experience in Europe,but the main concern to me is his lack of experience with big names and I remember how Best,Law and a few more made life hell for Wilf McGuinness when he took over from Busby in 1969.
