An away day at white hart lane always sticks in my mind, who else was there and can remember the score. Well packed on the terraces and pretty nasty atmosphere with lots of hissing at the shelf to the right. Before the game we had a minutes silence for the zebrugger (spelling?) disaster, bloke in front of me shouts "f off tottenham " old bill come steering down the terraces hitting everyone in their path, nick about 5 rangers and drag them out. During the game Gavin McGuire smashes Danny Thomas,s leg to bits. What the score was I don,t know but me and my mate got a right kicking on the way back to 7 sisters. I was about 15 or 16 so it must have been 88 ish

I think it was earlier about 85/6? A 1-1 draw? I recall losing 5-0 the year before, when Clive Allen celebrated in front of us, as if we wanted him to leave, and got showered by loads of coins.Good. 87-8 was a 1-1 draw when Ardiles got Mark Dennis sent off. 86-7 is a blur to me, can't recollect it at all without looking it up.
WHL has always been a naughty place to go. Last time I went they set the whole High St alight.

Also remember a great game around that time. We lost a third round replay 3-2. Cracking game, could have gone either way, lots of hoops there and great atmosphere.

Always seemed to be a bit of an undercurrent in the old days - maybe a throwback to the 82 final. Remember one game, again packed on the terraces. We lost but it was a decent game. Archibald kept going down injured every five minutes. I think Spurs had a twice taken free kick in front of the Rs fans and scored from the second take.

Best Spurs away memory: went on my own as a young un and got a ticket off a tout in 1993 - turned out it was in the home terrace behind the goal...
Managed to keep schtum until they got a penalty and Roberts saved it at 0-0... Pure instinct, leapt up and got thrown out by the police for my own good after a hairy few minutes and put in a different stand
We went on to lose 4-2 I think, were 4-0 down until Devon White came on and did his thing

Lots of great memories from mid 80's going to Spurs. Always great fun walking from the tube along Sev Sister's Road... Brilliant atmosphere in the Park Lane away end with the low roof over the terrace (and the wire mesh out the back). I had a 12 foot hooped banner ''Queen's Park Rangers / Oxford Hoops'' there in 1985, tied to the fence in front of the terrace.
Thinking back, the hissing and some of the songs back then make me wince. Lots of anti-jewish stuff which just seemed to be unshocking at the time... maybe just because I was a teenager. It's was very partizan (rough) back then so hey ho.
Don't get to go much these days as young family takes precedence - but will be attending tomorrow. Can't wait. Come on you R's!
