Just make sure that any chants are at him and the players know that. Boos could be meant for anyone and misunderstood.

A chant of we want Williams out should suffice.

amazing .....this website gave the so called Marvellous Martin more support during his tenure.....massaging his ego when he didn't get payers in January yet the same imposter got a great end of season run with the same players he had had all season yet deployed different formation and tactics to nearly get us to the play offs....despite having a run of 20 games with only 2 wins......

They were wrong then. They're right now.

Experience maybe.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

When we've easily beaten poor Cardiff teams, they looked a beaten side from the outset. That was us today.

Confidence in what they are doing and in the manager looked shot. No excuse for not turning up, but putting it all on the players in public is not the way forward.

He’s got nothing to lose so he vented his spleen in a very unprofessional manner. He’s looking for a pay off.

Todays team selection, Cullen up front' it doesn't work but Cullen at CAM has been working, that was a mistake.
Allen starting, hindsight maybe but a mistake.

Not that Eon or Ronald got many crosses in but Cullen won't win those headers.

Allen really needs to retire, I think he's gone, done. If he retires we can juse his wages on new players.

To precis, Williams get sacked, Cullen at CAM and Allen retires, it's what we need

PS, Eom and Ronald need crossing practice.

so. what should have Luke done differently today

So many experts on the forums ...what team would they have picked waht tactics deployed?

Just.loom at our bench today....Cabango and Darling were they match fit?

Lots of contributory factors to where we are ...not just the manager/coach

This website was split badly oiver Martin, many of us wanted him gone before the second season. Some of us took longer and others still would have him back.

Maybe they have learned from that?

I’m getting the impression you actually like Williams, and support him as he sets out his tactics for us all to see.
I’m really not understanding what your see.
I see boring, tedious, drivel from players who could do better . Much better
I see his gib and want to throw up ,mainly as I’ve had a lifetime of watching and listening to liars and bshitters and how they manipulate decent folk,in this case ,our fan base l
It’s all rather sinister .

It’s also insulting and O ain’t having it,even if you are

He coukd do nothing because the only thing they’ve trained for is this mind numbing style.

It’s not today he should have done something, it’s since he’s been here. On the training ground working through different scenarios, different tactics, different formations, different approaches. It’s not just about today!

Possibly because for all his faults, he never lost the players or played the surrender football we’ve seen so throughout January.

We are the most boring team in the league
We all know, you could watch a game whilst having lunch ,undisturbed as yiu just know how we will play l it’s predictable .
We know Key ,Tymon,Grimes will offer gifts and Cullen will,be blown away .

Yeah Martin had a better squad.

I actually think Williams is a better manager. I’ve said that fairly consistently up until the West Brom thing that absolutely did not get blown out of proportion.

Whether you like it or not, the players were playing for him before that and they aren’t now. There’s only one way this ends.

He’s blamed the atmosphere that they thrived in under Martin.

He’s a coach not a manager. He took the job knowing what that entailed from the board. If he didn’t he’s even more of a clown than I thought as he’d served time here with Martin.
The WBA fiasco was exactly that. If he doesn’t understand PR with the fans he should be in a different job. He was willing to leave end of. Now he wants a pay off. If he stays he’ll just be more and more divisive.
He’s a coach who can’t get the best out of what he’s got. He’s failed end of.

Personally I would not have taken Cullen out of the 10 role and played Bianchini up front with Allen on the bench.

Recent, horrendous away performances aside Williams has delivered more with a lesser squad than Russy managed with a much better one. That's beyond question to anyone with a shred of sanity remaining.

I just don't think he's all that bright. Martin was smarter, sneakier and better able to convince people that he wasn't at fault. Williams is perhaps more naive.

He must feel that the result and performance today on top of other equally bad results and performances will mean that he won't be in charge next season. Which is why he probably had a go at the players before having a good look at himself in the mirror.

Big boardroom decisions ahead and only they know what our finances are.

Yes, or even VIP. Allen was put in for his experience of this type of game. It didn’t work though.

And that probably extends to his man management.

I’m sure Martin was very good at motivating players and getting them on his side. Williams seems awkward in most of his press conferences and blew our season up with his West Brom comments. You don’t get performances like the last four from a motivated squad.

They both (and Cooper) share the unfortunate trait of looking to blame others, usually the players, for bad results and performances.
