Where will we finish on 14:31 - Oct 31 with 815 views | 442 | I’d take 18th. At the start of the season I was hoping we’d finish in the play off spots. I thought we were well on our way after Goodliffe’s double headed brace sent us all into hysterics.I’ll stick by the Cowleys. Let’s hope they can turn this sh#t show around.probably need to spend in January. Up the U’s.

Top seven which was my original prediction. Clearly time for my medication. But seriously if we can make two decent signings at Christmas then it is definitely on. Just got to find the 72 points now!!! Up the U's

Where will we finish on 21:05 - Oct 31 with 736 views | wessex_exile | Before the season started I was hopeful of at least challenging for a play-off slot/ upper mid table. 10 minutes into AFCW I thought automatic promotion. A dozen or so games later I'll take 18th and a marginal improvement on last season if necessary. Most of us can probably remember the gradual, incremental, snail-like progress when we returned back to the football league, and we certainly all know where eventually that lead. I'll take more of the same right now, and if nothing else, Saturday is at least a free shot to show the spirit we're going to need to achieve it.

Where will we finish on 09:35 - Nov 1 with 681 views | Witham | I waited until Ladbrookes was empty before putting my bet on for us to win promotion as the place had been in floods of laughter in 2003. Thought we had a good chance and still think we might make the playoffs.

Absolutely Wessex, 18th, realistically would be a tentative positive step and that'll do for me......for a start!

Given all the hype and the baloney coming from the Chuckle Brothers I demand better. The most loyal fans typically spend over £4,500 per annum following this dross, home and away, and deserve better after 15 years of continuous decline under Robbie Cowley. Something must be fundamentally wrong. We sell off the silver (Fevrier & Bradley) in the Summer; Edwards & Tovide get injured, and now we find Thorn is cup-tied! How was that allowed to happen! Owned by a recruitment agency, we should have better succession planning, and that applies as regards managers. A mistake was made when we recruited all the Ipswich has-beens only looking for a final pay cheque. Now it’s been repeated with Lincoln and Portsmouth cast offs. Fed up with the despair!!!!!

Agree. I challenge anyone to put forward a reasoned case as to how the club is in a better position now compared to January. Hopefully someone will try! | | | | Login to get fewer ads
