QPR biggest risers in TGG 2023/24 Academy Rankings on 16:22 - Oct 25 with 1887 views | Northernr | Look at that quote, read it. Then look at the reasons we went up the rankings... Since the last edition of the Rankings, for 2021/22, QPR have given debuts to homegrown players. Aaron Drewe, Rayan Kolli and Murphy Cooper. Drewe and Kolli played for them in 2023/24, while Cooper contributed points as a Swindon Town player. In addition, several former QPR players have contributed points by making an impact at other clubs. Notable among them is defender Alfie Gilchrist, who was with the Hoops until he joined Chelsea at 11, made his debut for the Stamford Bridge outfit in September 2023 and went on to make a total of 11 Premier League appearances for them in 2023/24. Full-back Darnell Furlong, who was with QPR from 11 to 24, was a mainstay for West Brom in their Championship campaign last season. And Raheem Sterling, who was with the Hoops from 10 to 16, featured in 31 Premier League games for Chelsea in his 13th season as a pro.

I know we're all in bad form, but this is some good news. Players and parents of young players are more likely to join or stay at a higher ranked academy.

Our academy position pretty much mirrors our league position. Are you happy with our league position? 🤔😆 Boosted by some players we couldn't/didn't retain.

Are all members of our staff really AI Robots !! I had the misfortune this week to attend an "Artificial Intelligence use in Fundraising" Course this week and basically possible funders are not easily fooled by AI written applicarions - its quite easy to suss this out as computing has not quite yet been able to master the skills of reacting and chatting with human like emotions. This quote and most of Nourry's introductions for our new signings all seemed to reek of simple AI speak. So far the robots are not creating much apart from a load of old waffle speak. And the rankings of academies thats very very subjective -if I am using the right word Mt Chatbot GPT...

QPR biggest risers in TGG 2023/24 Academy Rankings on 07:48 - Oct 26 with 937 views | davman | Professional football is all about the first team and I have seen very little evidence that the Academy has moved the first team on in any single way for quite some years. That money would be best spent elsewhere, surely?

Well FFP prevents us spending it on the first team. They've built the facilities for an academy and it takes years to develop players from scratch. I know that we still face the problem of other clubs 'stealing' our youngsters but having put the infrastructure in place, why would they give up on it now?
