Should Sheff Weds get whole school end ? 12:11 - Mar 3 with 24282 viewslosethedrum

Given that for every saturday home league game this season there have been around a thousand R's fans with restricted views & we really need this not to be like a home game for Weds maybe just give them the 1800 odd upstairs .
Before anyone tells me that we can then only sell 900 or so of the lower tier to our supporters we gave the whole end including lower tier to Watford & then shut off both of the end blocks Z1 & Z6 so only 900/1000 in there anyway , understand this for Wall but Watford are not a risk in any way shape or form .
Sell lower tier at full price £31 to Rangers & let more of our support have an unrestricted view .

I certainly wouldn't be giving them both tiers

No way give them both tiers, why ? We need every advantage we can get.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Given it seems we can sell that out ourselves atm, as seen against Rotherham, then definitely not. New CEO seems much keener on ticket promotions and deals for kids etc than Hoos did, and that really paid off in a key game last week so do that again.

On a similar note, we don't want Leeds coming here in the penultimate game needing a result, or lifting a title. For obvious football reasons, but also because that fcking lot will crawl all over the ground trying to get tickets in home end, turning up without tickets etc.

That game will almost certainly be moved for TV but it's looming as a bit of a ballache all round the way the table is shaping up.

Leeds at home with something riding on the result has happened a couple of times in the past towards season's end

May fixtures

75-75 won H 2-0 champoins?
77-78 D H 0-0 relegation
78-79 L 3-4 relegation
10-11 L 1-2 Champs

sure there was another end/last game of the season game

captains fantastic

Don't think they can move Leeds match for TV. Last day of the season all the matches have to be at the same time, do they not?

I'd hope the CEO keeps Lower School for kids deals for all the remaining matches.

Leeds H isn't the last game so could still be moved for TV. FWIW the Leeds 3 4 was away and not the last game but it did send us down

Simple solution for the Leeds game is allow them to do a beam back at Elland Road

Don't think we should be giving them 2800 ticket just because they might try and get in the home end ( again easily solved only sell tickets to people on our database ) they would be giving us lowest allocation possible if it was the other way round that's for sure

I fly in from Vegas at 9.00 am that Saturday so cue a switch to Fiday night, plus it looks like Sky Sports Leeds has nearly every game of theirs on anyway.

Quite a few on the data base already; we all know what’s going to happen. They don’t sit on their hands, do they - on a massive mission to let you know where they are from.

Regarding Wednesday - top tier only. It’s our ground - the tickets will sell.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Under EFL regs you only have to give 10% of the capacity to away fans, or 2000 if capacity is above 20k, so thats about 1800 tickets, which is roughly the same size as the upper tier.

I personally would only give the upper tier for the remaining home games, and do we know attendances have risen recently, so I personally would give the school lower to home fans for all remaining home games this season.

Even if they don’t, Clive. People complain about legroom at Rangers. Thick necks = restricted view. I’ve no problem with away fans in our stands just feckin shut up.

If they're on our database and they only have history for buying Leeds H tickets then don't sell them to them .

Pretty easily solved if the club do it properly. Obviously can't help if a ST holder getting a tickets for Leeds mates but then you would hope they wouldn't make a scene if your mate got a ticket for you !

I don't think we're selling out. The published attendance figures are including a LOT of freebies handed out to the "community" and in many instances a sizeable chunk of those holders of freebies didn't turn up. Rotherham needed "Kid a Quid" too.
I don't think it's fair or correct to move goalposts or change our approach mid-season and we should treat ALL visting clubs the same.
Anyway, what sort of message does it send to them if we say we're worried your raucous big support might give you an edge? Nah, bring them AND their fans on send them home with their tails between their legs. If 15000 home fans can't drown out 3000 away fans there's something not right.

We’re getting close to selling out. As I said earlier - it’s our ground. If we can sell to us, we should.

Can’t see the argument here.

Leeds certainly would sell out if we need something or look like we will a couple of weeks before which is highly probable. Wednesday I expect would be very close even without filling the lower School with kids. Doubt Wednesday would give us both tiers of that away end if the match was reversed.

sheff weds would sell both tiers easily but DO WE NEED TO BOLSTER RELEGATION rivals? get as many qpr fans in our ground until the end of the season.
as for near 3000 lids fans! no! but one step at a time.
