What we have got. What we need. And what we can afford.
My personal view.
No one to sell currently.
Our saleable assets are at their lowest valuations currently given recent form.
Others will know contract situations and wages. Etc.
I understand there is zero money to spend.
Am personally expecting three or four loanees, at least one striker, one full back, and one centre midfielder in Johansen style. No signings though.
Bonne, Thomas, Nico and possibly Roberts - I would try to loan back, loan elsewhere or sell.
Shodipo I think if someone on a par or better is available likely attempt be loaned out.
It's though a notoriously quiet window so could perhaps only be two or three deals done and if we can't get certain players off our books , be it temporarily or permanently, I feel sadly the replacements will not be incoming !!
The comments well we need two strikers that can put ball in back of the net !! Pure genius insight !!
Money talks. Hopefully Critchley has his own contacts and we shall see...
Crikey - apologies for crappy post - happy new year Rangers joys and girls !!!
I get the impression that the club has decided we’re not going to make the playoffs or go down - not so sure about that! and will run with the current squad until the end of the season when Critchley will oversee a major clear out and rebuild.

The QPR way, major clear out, nothing happens, rinse and repeat.

Fair enough BOS-man, we'll consider having you back but we'll be looking for a certain versatility in terms of the positions we ask you to play in - basically all of them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Critchley jumps ship for the first better offer that comes along.

Bristol City have re-invested some of the Semenyo money on Anis Mehmeti from Wycombe. Good signing

Yep, good signing by Bristol City. That lad has serious potential.
The kind of signing I would much rather we made than bringing in loans like Roberts. There are risks attached to all signings, but if we're talking about succession planning, he plays a similar role to Chair/Willock. Will watch how he progresses with interest.

Erm, didn't the aforementioned Semenyo just go for £10.5m?
Willock was our best option to do likewise but his injuries last season and this season killed any chance stone dead. Both times he was showing the kind of form that would have attracted lower Premiership / upper championship attention. Now he looks like damaged goods.

Field being linked to Palace and Fulham on Twitter.
There's even a QPR fan on there who says field is sh*t, can't make a 5 yard pass, and we should accept anything over £1m for him... same bloke who thinks Dunne is useless too - 'our worst defender'.
