It is strange that there is no mention of Ashby’s departure on the club site. It’s not an insignificant event and I’m sure most fans would be interested to know why he left but “of interest to the public” and “of public interest” are two different things. For whatever reasons the club has, for some time, seemed reluctant to provide information in the public domain so I’m not really expecting to hear anything further.
No comment from the club, which does seem rather surprising given his long service.
Also no comment on players not “taking the knee” on Sunday. I expected a positive statement from the club that it remained supportive of the campaign whilst explaining why the players had made this decision. Or did Poku just forget when he kicked off?
Then Jevani Brown, Bohui and Folivi are not even in the squad with the suggestion that Brown wasn’t pulling his weight in training etc, whilst Senior had his best game in months, ran his legs off and actually looked interested.
Big Frank’s arrival has been heralded in the Gazette as the “return of the King”, as if we have welcomed the new Messiah. Have we had a major dressing room and football back office shake up?
Positive or negative?

He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy.
