Last home game for the Ospreys today 23:15 - Mar 23 with 4262 viewsbermudajack

Went to the game as my dad wanted to go, nice touch, they had the season ticket holders name and a signed picture band of a player wrapped around various seats for the last home game...
At least the club is trying to connect not alienate its fans 😳

Just over 8,000 apparently.

.....which doesn’t sound great, but it’s better than the other regions usually get. It looks bad because the Liberty is much larger than the other grounds.

Should play at the knoll, would get a better atmosphere 👍

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.
Poll: Celtic and Rangers should be fast tracked into the Championship ASAP

I also like the way the players walk around the pitch having photos and signing autographs, far better than our players walking 15 metres in from the hoardings and waving

Number 1 team in Wales

The gnoll sadly isn’t big enough. Only 5000 - 6000 capacity. There were plans to modenise it and increase to 10-15000 but that was about 5 years ago and A LOT happened at Neath RFC in that time. It’ll never happen now, but that sort of size would be spot on. 10,000 seats with a further 5,000 standing.

Looked great. Shame.

Sounds perfect for the Ospreys.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

You have to remember that they havent anything to play for so 8000 isnt so bad .
Need to be challenging for honours gates will go up then.
And be entertaining like yesterday. Its on S4C at 10 oclock tonight.

The Gnoll holds 5000 which is slightly too small for the Ospreys... the smallest attendances at the Liberty are around 6000 but quite often 7000+.

Shame the Gnoll isn’t slightly bigger as it would suffice then. Apart from the big games eg Blues and Scarlets.

Surely a wind up, email Pearlman and ask the him to make the players come and hug the fans after the match.

It’s a bit daft though how a million odd must have watched wales win the grand slam on tv the week before plus 75,000 in the stadium, which they could have probably sold twice over. Yet Ospreys only get 8,000 watching them a week later in a game featuring grand slam winners.

Out of the 75k that were at the principality last weekend, I’d wager that 30-35k were ‘proper’ rugby fans. Take your point though.

Just like the Swans have really had 18000 plus attendances lately.

The Gnoll is more than big enough for the people who actually turn up at Ospreys games.

I fear more job losses if they leave, but will benefit the state of the pitch.
