A guy I never rated but when I saw him down here dominate midfield I was v impressed by his work rate and technical ability was Michael Carrick playing for Man Utd when they played us off the park at the Liberty.
Suarez at anfield under Rodgers just looked like he could score in every minute of every game, Bale and Vertongen down here when they both scored excellent goals.
So many duffers over the years, Collins seemed to be scoring own goals or giving us an excellent assist. Plenty of nailed on goals missed or saved by Vorm, Fabianski and others. |  |
