Do it http://www.wales.nhs.uk/sitesplus/888/page/94070 This is risking the health of south west Wales to make Cardiff even wealthier. Make a stand. Fill it out. One day, it may be you or your loved ones who need this centre and have to travel to Cardiff who have 2 within the space of 30 minutes.

Stop Cardiff from getting the MTC over Morriston! on 10:04 - Dec 17 by Banosswan | A small point, but the units in Bristol are one for adults, one for children. So technically Cardiff are covered by one. Obviously should still go further west and the irony would be that Cardiff would be covered by two units then. |
A MTC for children only? Really? It is still two units covering them regardless. I agree siting in Swansea would still give them cover. The fact is SW Wales needs a Unit and the Morriston option would help satisfy the nationalists amongst us inasmuchas Cardiff and S Wales would not be reliant on an English MTC. We think we have it bad though. Just take a look at Mid and North Wales which are reliant on Stoke and Liverpoool respectively. Outside of the border regions they have nothing and this in vast areas of farm track roads which generate the greatest need for such Units. Siting in Cardiff makes no sense at any level.
