Obviously everybody always talks about Sinclair v Barnsley, Wegerle v Leeds, Francis v Liverpool, Ferdinand v Man Utd etc. What about great goals we've scored that don't get air play?
Starting with this one from Simon Barker at Sheff Wed 1996...

I remember every one of those late 80s / early 90s goals like it was yesterday.
A few other I've not seen posted on this thread yet.
Wilkins long range belter v Liverpool at loft end.
Kenny Sansom v Arsenal
Another Marc Falco acrobatic finish v Sunderland around Xmas time. It was pissing down that day if it helps.
Last game of the season away at Pompey, Gallen's last game before he left for Barnsley. He came on as a sub and straight away scored a great goal. Langley also scored a wonderful long range goal that day.
Furlong diving header late in the game at home v Wigan.
Furlong header again winning it late at home v Leicester. We came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. I think Martin Keown got sent off for them that day.
George santos great long range goal away v Crewe.
Ishmael Miller at home v Leicester
Anyone with better wifi than me able to find these and post them on this thread?
Thanks for reminding me of that 6-1 v Luton as well. We started that game really sluggishly and then suddenly Wegerle started his magic. He was unstoppable that day.
Also that Furlong goal away at Sunderland posted before. Love that one. But I remember me and most of the away end screaming at him to pass it to Gallen as he attacked.
thank you Peter Hucker because I now feel very old as I was at all of those games myself the 3-2 vs Leicester was one of my favourite games ever just for seeing shittu go crazy at the end honourable mentions for Sinton away at forest & Barker in the cup Qtr final last minutes vs Liverpool ,
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Nygaard at Leicester.
Dichio at Wolves.
Buzsaky scored a ridiculous one on a rainy midweek evening against some non-entity of a team (Blackpool?). Sort of a slice into the corner from way out.
Langley got one (again probably Blackpool) again midweek I think where his own corner came back to him and he leathered it in from around the corner of the box.
This one Watford...

Dexter Blackstock against Preston in John Gregory's season. Sublime 50 yard pass from Nygaard controlled on his thigh by Dex and thumped home from 25/30 yards. Pretty much confirmed us staying up when we didn't have pot to piss in. Went mad when that on went in.

As far as I'm aware, no video survives of my personal favourite - from 31st August, 2002.
2-1 down against Plymouth Argyle at LR, last minute...and Richard Pacquette lashes in as sweet a hit as you'll ever see. Fifteen years ago, seems like yesterday (and we had over 14,000 in the ground for a regular third-tier game - those were the days).
Still, if anyone can dig up a rare piece of film featuring this it would be mightily worthwhile.

Thanks for that, Aston...
Yes, a pretty enjoyable season, that - think I can recall we finished eighth. Unsuccessful trip to Cardiff the year after, and then glory at Hillsborough twelve months after that.
And my ST in Block V, Ellerslie cost me £250 per year.
Happy days...

Probs not even underrated but still a great goal
Probably my favourite after the Sinclair overhead kick. I remember watching him out run Lescot and thinking "oh bollocks, he's had a shot... OMFG!!! what a goal!!!" Superb technique. The Remy one rates very highly and any number of AT's from 2010-2012. mentioning AT, not so much for the goals, but for the attitude when he came on as sub when we were 2-0? down at home to Wolves and he singlehandedly took on their midfield and defence time after time to get us back into it but Wayne Hennessey picked that day to have a worldy in goals and denied him a hat trick plus IMO.he was unstopppable that afternoon and it only sickens me to the core to think of that talent wasted... more than wasted by the idiot.

Always thought this one was underrated. Les intercepts the ball and moving away from goal passes it to Bardsley, who sprints down the wing and crosses it for Les to score with a diving header. Still amazed at how Ferdinand made up the distance between his original pass and arriving in the box for the header.

This is the best QPR goal ever. Better than Trevs, Weggers, Adels, Francis (Gerry or Trev).
Problem is I have only ever seen half of it on the net and it does not look that great. It just looks like a normal goal.
But if anyone has the full build up please post it. It shows how we totally control the game (well at that part if the match anyway) and are in a total passing control of the ball as in the entire team has possession (it also shows the difference between passing with being in control and tika tika nonsense). I think I counted 10 passes whereby 8 different QPR players touch the ball (the oppo never get a touch), finished by our legend Gallen.
What little we have starts at 1.09mins in.
Not impressed? That's why we need the full build up.
Has anyone got it?
I was sitting in the West Brom end that night - they absolutely icked on us, but we scored that great goal, and Cookie produced two superb crosses to grab us two others. That was during his superb run of form.
Bare bones.
