Always tweeting about us and retweeting ppl asking him to come back. Could he be the commanding personality/leader we are after at the back? I know sometimes his antics were embarrassing but he sure could defend and play

Ask him if you can get 10,000 retweets, will he sign for us.

Brynnie will retweet it 30,000 times himself

35,000. And counting

If we want to laugh the opposition to death with his utterly embarrassing play acting then sure. Decent CB but no thank you.

Aye, good logic. Because beggars can be choosers in the January transfer window, right?

I just don't think he's better than anything we've got now is all! We need improvements so money is better saved in my opinion.

He's a class above all 4 centre halfs we currently have

He was. Not sure he still would be after two years in the desert.

Still, downgrading from Flores to Fernandez and ending up at least £4m out of pocket on the deal is a shining example of the kind of idiocy that's infected the decision making processes at the club over the last several years.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

In our situation I would explore a deal. I can't see HJ pulling anything better out of the hat.

What is this thing we have about former players who when they left, most (not all) deemed not good enough, but when they're then doing ok for a Qatari or a Championship side are suddenly exactly what we need back? Weird.

Oh,..Dave, what's occuring?

If we all know he wants to come back (seemingly), then the club should know too. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

It's because we've got so many sad acts following us March. Grown men too mind.

Possibly.

But you'll have to explain to me how my last post was deemed "thick".

You're agreeing to a post slating those who still go on about former players who have gone on to a weaker league, f*ck me you're still sending Garry Monk valentines cards every February you fruitcake.

Chico struggled to get up to speed at first and fouled a lot,
But once he got into the game he whore his heart on his sleeve.
He is something we could do with right now, no pushy footing around then.

It's because we've watched our team get significantly worse over the last few years. No great mystery. Pining for the glory days is a natural response.

The only defender that offers a goal threat is VD Hoorn, Chico did that and has far more experience. Couldn't say I've ever really given a crap about the theatrics

Good player for us but yes he was embarrassing at times - we could have had Virgil van Dijk instead, I know who I'd have preferred!

Lots on here said he wasn't good enough for us and wouldn't get in our team because he had only played in Scotland.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
