...I think this is the end of our Premiership run. I hope I'm wrong but can't see anything saving us.

No prelific goal scorer,no decent defence and no manager to pull us together and 'make it happen'.

We were more awful today than the Bournemouth game.

And for the record...I left on 15 minutes(jack Fath, Darran take note! Who probably weren't even there)

Sorry mate but I just don't agree....
If we get the right man, with enough experience and that the players respect and can buy into, then we have more than enough quality to climb to mid table!
If however HJ refuses to yield the axe and continues with Monk, well then you certainly have a point...

We have the quality in our squad to stay up. We just need to change the manager and regroup.

I didn't think it would be possible to find someone with less fight in them than our players today. Congratulations!

Only thing that will save our beloved Swans, is sacking Monk & getting someone, anyone with more of a clue, right now zippy George & bungle look good.

I told him that too.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Thanks Clasie. The modern world is inscrutable, but the Swans letting us down allows a few moments to remember the happier times past (miners strike, race riots, poll tax) aah. Nice to see you anyway

Fortunately we're not even halfway through the season.

I won't start a list of the things that can happen [and some of which probably will happen] to change anything and everything about the team and their fortunes by the end of the season. Anyone who couldn't make such a list may stew in their own juices.

I fully intend to trust Huw Jenkins and have confidence that the players will find a way to pull things together. I'll maintain that attitude until the end is etched in stone.

Epictetus taught that both wanting something too much and dreading something too much are not the way to happiness. You have to read into that the fact that whether either happens or not, you wasted your emotional energy in the meantime.

I feel the warm glow of Bon Homie. I'll be homesick and actually come back and attend a game next!

Leaving on 15mins really?

We've had 4 great years (even that Laudrup second year wasn't all that bad), we were always going to have a bad season at some point. I'm confident we will stay up.

You can never know what it is like to feel like it's the end of the road until you have fingered your gran. And that folks is a fact.

Monk has a very generous clause in his contract should be sacked.... a handsome compensation payout and hardly any money left to actually BUY decent players (rather than these free Bosmans).

A years pay, not bad for a failed Southampton player.

That would be a lot for a club our size and small income streams, he must step aside for the his love of the club.
