Rugby World Cup Thread 15:39 - Sep 15 with 36230 views | kingsburyR | I don't think someone has started one yet. Can't see past New Zealand but Ill have a cheeky £10 on the Aussies who always come good in a world cup. And Bet of the week is for the Aussies to come top of England's group @ 2/1

Rugby World Cup Thread on 16:13 - Sep 23 by Toast_R | To be fair though 3 days rest in-between a massive closely contested game with SA to this, is a big ask by anyone's standards. Scotland are as fresh a daisy so it's no real surprise they've walked it in the latter stages. We'll know far more about them when they front up SA in what now looks like a compelling fixture. This pool is wide open now, England should they progress could be up against either of SA, Scotland, Japan. [Post edited 23 Sep 2015 16:15]

Yes - Japan looked very tired in the last 20 mins. The Scotland SA game should be interesting although it's surely odds on that the Boks will dole out a kicking in the end.

Not what the form book says. But what makes this World Cup exciting is that anything could happen. Scotland to win in the last minute. Andy Murray coming coming on to score the winning try. [Post edited 23 Sep 2015 18:22]

Rugby World Cup Thread on 10:37 - Sep 24 with 2914 views | Phildo | Think the saffas will beat Scotland and top the group. England lost a first match in 2007 and made the final. Ford definately dropped. Shame a lovely player who gets the backs moving but its going to be a bosh fest for England Wales. No one really stood out as amazing from the first round of games. Could be a surprise winner from this tournament. NZ looked a little long in the tooth to me. Pocock some player for Aussies. Henderson looked top drawer for Ireland.

Except England lost that game to the best team in the world at the time and the eventual winners. Not Japan.

They will, though a few recent games between the 2 have been quite close. SA were always just QF fodder. They got spanked at home by Argentina in the RC, and on the basis of the Japan game the squad is woefully undercooked in fitness terms | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If SA don't beat Scotland then they'll be out I should think, whereas Scotland can probably afford to lose given that they've got the extra point. That makes things a bit easier for Scotland - they can sit back and wait for SA to make a mistake and pick them off. At around 5/2 I would fancy Scotland as a bet. Scotland look as if they've prepared well for this tournament.

Its a mystery. ball carrier protected by men in front of him. Lots of change will be coming to the rules in coming years i think for this and the concussion stuff. Medics have caught up with the damage being done and the standing choke tackle/head bounce will have to go.

Get the defence organised. Probably needs at least 7 forwards.

There are no Moari's anyore, just remnants of a race we English bred out.. Its PR bullshit and i wonder if the NZ team were ranked as Japan, Maldives or India, whether they would actually perform it. Do you believe the Maori's are the only "worrior race" on the planet then? Bo**ox..its a marketig gimick that you hv bought into. Why dont we stick up a "May pole" pre game and have morris dancers, the Frogs ride around in stripey shirts with onions around thier necks or the Italians put on thier Nikes and do 100 runs...away..? Talk about hype, this is worse than the Fotball World Cup ! I defy any 100% Maori to deny or reply to this.......Waiting....waiting......
