Blackpool game abandoned 17:02 - Jul 11 with 39981 views | dalebolt | Blackpools friendly against Lancaster has been abandoned, again due to fans refusing to leave the pitch. I wonder if they have anything planned for the 15th August?

Blackpool game abandoned on 11:14 - Jul 21 with 3311 views | tazzydjr | Just sent to The FA; Subject Football Association Enquiry I've got some concerns over the Blackpool v Rochdale on Saturday 15th August 2015 both Blackpool & The Football League don't seem to care about our traveling if a repeat of Blackpool v Huddersfield Town were to happen again and The match gets abandoned which is very worrying as a Blackpool Fan on their forum has quoted they don't care aslong as they hit the Oyston the pocket. I'm very worried about our fans (Rochdale) who will be traveling to this fixture that day that they will be out of pocket alot of money for things such as Travel Expenses, Accommodation, Match Ticket, Refreshments etc. When is the FA gonna actually step in and solve the situation altogether. Thanks

Tazzy, i wouldnt start sending off emails you might end up muddying the waters. There are others on the forum who can compile a better response. I think you have done enough this Sunmer to put the club in the spotlight, time to pass on the baton and let others deal this particular matter.

TalkSport is pretty much a joke and BBC Radio (National and Regional) are too busy doing phone-ins about Facebook trending topics.

So you are quite happy for supporters of other clubs to be out of pocket and inconvenienced? Do these forms of action revolve around the current score of the game?

Well in that case, you can fook right off. You sound no better than Oyston in terms of consideration for other people.

Completely sympathise and agree with your course of action in removing the Oystons. However, you risk alienating fellow fans by not taking their feelings into account. There are pensioners who will spend a decent amount of what little cash they have to go to this game and you will be responsible for their outlay being completely wasted. You liken it to war. The worst thing in actual war is when innocents get caught up in it and hurt through no fault of their own. Unfeeling generals refer to this as collateral damage. Don't be like them. Once off against Huddersfield to garner attention to your cause may have been fine, but maybe another tack is needed now. I understand many are boycotting games. If this is a long term course of action, it will work believe me. If more action is needed, I think you would be best aiming it directly at the Oystons. Can you not go round to their house dressed in balaclavas and kidnap his dog or summat? Maybe hack his PC and find some dirt on there? Use your imagination lads and lasses

You really are making it a one man mission to dissolve the good will and comradery amongst fans who sympathise with the current goings on at Blackpool. In the same way that life won't end if I miss the game, your fight against the Oystons won't be affected if fans of opposing clubs seek assurances about compensation for games that may be abandoned due to planned protests. It really is that simple. You don't have to come on here being a massive bellend. [Post edited 21 Jul 2015 15:33]

All forms of action are in motion including their private residences. We have discussed all this to death for months on our own forums and can assure you one bloke on here telling me to f off will make no difference whatsoever. After all I'm not the only Pool fan in the world so I can only comment on my views and opinions. Thanks for those of you who realise the importance of this fight and support us. And to those who don't as you might be inconvenienced I do hope nothing like this ever happens to your club... Good luck and I will leave you all now. I've obviously upset a few of you

25 quid is 25 quid. Plus my daughter and my mate plus diesel plus a non-refundable B&B and you're looking at north of £100 quid. That'll buy you a lot shed load of crystal meth in Blackpool! Why not just go the whole hog and burn Bloomfield Road down then you can save the travelling fans the option of whether deciding to attend or not? I sympathise with your current situation but there are other ways of sticking it to the man (boy) than alienating your neighbours. Why not do a FCUM style protest and go and watch AFC Fylde?

The only problem you have there is that nobody is making you go and travel to watch the team. You have chosen to have those expenses knowing there's a chance the game could well be disrupted in some form. I sympathise to both the protesters situation and our own situation as away fans. I can't see there being a solution unless oyston makes a decision to refund gate money if the game is abandoned. That is highly unlikely.

Could post more but basically I agree with this and your previous post. I will not be attending the game to show some support to Blackpool fans in their fight. Similarly I would not have gone to the Coventry game had they still been playing at Northampton.

Thanks Flyerdale. I appreciate it is my choice whether to attend and potentially be out of pocket should some folk decide to break the law and enter the field of play. It seems perverse that the Viking warrior OdinsRaven (remember, the schools have now finished for the summer - 12 yr old internet warrior) will hand over £25 to Oyston for the privilege of invading the pitch yet seems intent on stopping us handing over £25 as it is going to the evil regime! I've no doubt we'll be the guinea pigs for their forthcoming season, hence the 999 allocation. What will they do when > 3k Bradford / Barnsley / Sheff Utd decide to come to town? It could turn nasty when > 5k Oldham roll into town! I know the club and the trust are doing their best to mitigate should the unthinkable happen. My thoughts are that the small claims courts in Oldham and Bury may have a temporary permanent resident from the Fylde area come September.
Blackpool game abandoned on 16:35 - Jul 21 with 2606 views | pioneer | I agree Fermin - I'd like to think Dale fans would do likewise if ever we found ourselves in the same situation. Its not that long ago that some Dale fans had to invade the pitch to avoid the Sandy lane being handed over by the clubs then directors to away fans. Thanks to them the traditional home of Dale fans was retained.

From memory, though, the Sandy Lane invasion was after the game had finished - thus inconveniencing nobody but the club officials. Might be wrong - memory is sketchy
