New indoor training complex 17:28 - May 30 with 3301 viewsEdmundo

Looks like its well under way, just cycled passed there, loads of machines on site. And the extended Landore complex additional floor nearly done.
Good progress, just wish we could see some work on the stadium.

What side is the 'extended Landore complex additional floor' on? Is it that bit on the end nearest the stadium?

It looks like a whole new floor on the existing building. I believe its for education/class rooms for the Yth teams, which will help get us Academy 1 Status👍

Doh! Sorry, by floor I was thinking about the actual ground. I'll have to go for a snoop and check it out. Beaufort road access though, last time I tried form the stadium the path was closed.

Also, it might be a good idea to buy that indoor bowls place and relocate them.

The cycle path from Beaufort Road is open now, with netting/barriers up at the actual site they are preparing, some friggin big earth movers and diggers preparing foundation area.

Nice gentle ride down from Birchgrove, and then a fast sprint back 👍

A massive cockmup imo.

Adding a complete new floor to a 2 year old building shows a considerable lack of foresight on the part of the board.

Our club has been invited to go and watch a session there next season so I'm sure the plan is to have it operating by September

Yeah they should have done what MK Dons did with their stadium, build the shell make it watertight and then do v the final fix when cash flow allows.

Even Barnet did that at the hive
