Hi was informed that the guy who knew to think he was Bruce Springteen and sing in Rochdale bus station and prior to that knew to sing outside the old cinema has died.
Can anyone confirm if this is true
He was a proper legend that man think his name was Ian

No queue in the rain to get into the old Cinema was complete without Bruce Springsteen performing live. A great character who was often better than the feature presentation.

The lad in question is called Ian Cullen, I remember him from Matthew Moss middle school in the 80's. He used to live on Clovelly St. in Castleton, and if I am not mistaken, lives Falinge way now.

Yes he was/is called Ian - at the time I used to chat with him he had a Walkman and the best air guitar known to man - that was it - Born In the USA was never so tuneless or brilliant :)
