Dale's now annual European tour has started with a victory.

Obviously, we didn't go to this game so we won't even attempt to blag any sort of report for the match,other than to say that Steve Eyre's first game in charge ended in a victory.

The goals came from new signing Simon Hackney and a rare effort from Jason Kennedy.

Dale fans will get their first chance to see the new side in action at Southport on Saturday.
