He's scored 1 in about 60 direct free kicks and it's hilarious how deluded he is regarding taking set pieces, id bet a decent amount that if I took 60 direct shots I'd inevitably score 1 of them.
Not sure what the high praise is for Slovenia they played exactly how they did against England with two banks of 4 and press very well, regarding them being "entertaining" I couldn't disagree any more, they're just very busy and make the most of their limited team, granted to fairly decent result.
I could actually see Slovenia winning the pens such was the form of Oblak all match, he's always been a top top keeper |

The "drama" in the game was purely down to penalties nothing to do with how a certain team set up to play, if you call watching Ronaldo belting 2000 free kick 4 miles over the bar as "drama" I'd probably agree with you YD |

Them two styles aren't mutually exclusive, they can be used together to prove deadly, Spain do it to perfection, they know when to "fanny" about with the ball then drag teams all over with their passing to then create an opening hit then strike the second there's an opportunity.
Whoever beats Spain wins this tournament from what I've seen |

Talking of Walker I thought he had his worst game I've ever seen, he was atrocious not to mention Foden jesus christ it baffles me how lads than can play so well at club level even in European games for their club can't knock a ball 10 yards to a man at this tournament.
Having just watched Spain there's a proper side that know when to keep hold of the ball and when to attack with pace, we are light years behind them so far. |

I'd be pretty certain Jim would have known this was the likely outcome some time ago, always came across as a thoroughly decent chap Jimmy K and every time I watched he gave his all even when sometimes it seemed he was surrounded by let downs, good luck to the lad |

I read it as gone are the times folk are on the board as a drain to the club or purely for their own personal gain, not sure it was intended as a swipe at legitimate former board members who've massively helped the club out along the way, regardless of their background. |
