Can’t disagree at all. And to be honest it must be boring if a Neil Harris Millwall side look like Barcelona in comparison. We were very lucky to escape with a point again. We are so slow building up, teams have got us sussed with ease. High press and we are fûcked. And even if we manage to get in the opposition half there is two banks of four ready and organised. Countless times we ended up giving the ball away. We really do need to mix it up. 60% possession and hardly any chances. |

I understand that under EFL rules the £4million has to be repaid to Couhig. Bang goes the Olise money. Bet that Lewis Wing thanked his lucky stars snubbing us to go there. |

Have only watched the highlights of the last two games but the thing that strikes me is that we now have a far better squad of players that will cope well with the championship once things have bedded down properly. I really do believe that this coupled with MC and a lower quality overall in the championship that we could threaten the play offs. We are scoring goals which last season was a major struggle and although we have yet to get a clean sheet we are letting in less than last season. Remember that the benchmark of last season were those two horrific performances against Watford and Blackburn. We are a million years away from them now. |

Another vote for Slow Horses. Me and my partner have binge watched the first two series since the weekend. Absolutely brilliant. Gary Oldman plays the ultimate anti-hero. |

Any redevelopment I reckon would be based on getting both the school land and also Batman Court. It will also depend on whether we could extend our a bit to over SAR. If in the unlikelihood we could get these three ducks in a row then possibly a ‘wrap round’ stand covering LR, SAR and the SE with possibly a reduced upper tier on the SE towards the ER stand, similar to the away end at Forest. It could also mean, if additional capacity is achieved to remodel the ER stand to something similar to the smaller end at Palace whereby the number of rows of seats are reduced but then with a double decker exec box arrangement. This way you can double the total number of boxes, reduce the issues with crowd traffic in the concourse. |

Liverpool waited for one owner to shuffle off their mortal coil before getting the chance to extend the Kemlin Road stand, they’d bought up all the rest of the houses by then and had them boarded up. Also there is a bit of a difference in the value of properties in Liverpool and W12! |

If the car is new then the dealership has to tax it prior to collection. That’s why you get the car price and then the on the road price |

Reintroduce the rule that goal kicks must be taken from the side of the six yard box from where the ball went out. |

If and when North Battersea get charged by the PL I hope that NDC is hired to represent them and does so with much professionalism. 😂 |

The word cûnt derives from the celery pickers of West Brompton in the early 19th century. |
| Forum Reply | Dynamic Pricing at 08:50 3 Sep 2024
It was well known that Ticketmaster would hold back a good number of tickets for big events and place them directly on their own resale site for hugely inflated prices and when they were found out and the practice made illegal, they came up with dynamic pricing which is the same thing but at this time legal. Evidently artists can opt out of this……. |
| Forum Reply | Oasis Reunion 2025 at 17:55 1 Sep 2024
I’m glad I didn’t get any tickets for Oasis. All this dynamic pricing that was going on and Ticketmasters excuse that the price automatically responded to high demand is total bullshît. It was the most obvious thing this century that demand was going to be huge and they knew that and the brothers Gallagher, greedy fûcking Mancs knew that as well. They have just totally ripped off their fans. Bit like PL football teams. Don’t give a fûck about the supporters, it’s all about the money. Cûnts. |

Yup. Nice to see them finally return to their natural level after 20 years of over-achievement. Hopefully little Chrissy will visiting the likes of Northampton next season. |

Assuming the link was about QPR when I first saw it earlier and the link didn’t work I googled QPR 31st August 1974. This brought up the fact that we played away to Luton Town that day with the result being 1-1. 50 years later……. |
| Forum Reply | Spelling & Grammar Faux Pas at 15:08 30 Aug 2024
A few years back on the front cover of a QPR programme which would show a picture of a certain player, who may have had connections with the opposition and who would be subject to an interview within the pages. One time it was Clint Hill, spelt in capitals with a rather squarish font, placed quite close together, so it read CLINT HILL , but you really had to check the spelling of Clint twice as the L and I looked suspiciously like a U. |

Agreed we totally dominated the second half but after we scored for some reason we decided that we wanted to emulate Southgate’s England and the chief culprits for me was JCS and Field. Both were shockingly poor today in my view. We have been told that the manager wants a high energy press but we aren’t getting that at all, Plymouth we’re playing through us at will until their first sending off. We need to put teams like Plymouth away with something to spare and had they finished the match with 11 I suspect that we could have been looking at a defeat. Agree, our forwards don’t take a gamble to try and get in front of their man in front of goal, too many times the ball went across the face without anyone attacking it. MOTM for me was Dunne. Was superb defending and gosling forward. |
