I feel a little indifferent to it to be honest. But this and the new training ground will up our bargaining power with new arrivals to the next level.

Just a shame we have to move.

But a newer and bigger Loftus Road next door to the current one? Quite an exciting thought.

Nah.

As above, Beard has already said, non-football considerations are most important. Will likely be a generic jobbie with the below mentioned restaurants/casino built in and excellent sight lines all around for the prerequisite music concerts.

I agree. We do need to move for the benefit of all involved.Just a shame as it was/is for any club moving to a new ground that the history is some what lost with any such move.
Hopefully they can incorporate a museum/history center within the new build.Would make an excellent pre-match tour package, plus keep alive the great history of our club and ground.

Sorry mate, but as long as we stay in the Bush I don't agree. Our stadium is sh1t. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room, overcrowded in the concourse, the bogs are like something out of the 3rd world, and a huge number of seats have a pillar blocking part of the view. If we want to go forward as a club something needs to be done. However, if we lose the atmosphere that can be generated in our tightly packed ground, that would be a shame and that's the only dissapointing part for me.

A twi tier stadium would fir perfectly for someone like Wasps who can just open the bottom tier.

I wouldnt be surprised if they go for a small arena style stadium (ref. Ajax)...just going to throw it out there - a roof that can close = concert / multi purpose venue / can also get a cracking atmosphere.

On a side, the positive of a multi-purpose stadium is that it's likely to be compact.

think the new stadium will be multi use no choice for it not to be for us and the club to be succesful .

it will have some sort of roof

it will be close to the pitch as much as possible

it will be local which is the main thing

this must be a dream as these sort of things dont happen to QPR do they

I agree we need 2 be looking 4 a bigger stadium but in your last sentence u say the only thing that we could lose is atmosphere but defeats all of what u said before. The atmosphere is everything. It must be designed so we loose none of it. I only go 4 a pee so I couldn't give a toss better not say sh it, what the toilets r like. Don't get me wrong I went 2 st marys and it would be nice to get served at half time but far 2 many fans r more interested in there stomach than the football. 4 me it's all about atmosphere so I can understand why some fans feel v nervous about the move because with all the slating u have done about lr u will struggle imo 2 beat it with regard 2 the important things
