i doubt we have made anything, once you factor in signing on fees, agent fees, wages, probably a bonus as he hasnt handed in a transfer request. A complete waste of time for Saints. Win Win for Goztepe |  |

But if Goztepe only pay just over the UK minimum wage to players (feasibly true…) it would have cost us a fair few bob last season to subsidise his wages.
Bit baffled as to why Goztepe would buy him from us when they could have just continued with last season’s arrangement. |  |

Clearly the way this is working is that we buy the players and then see how they progress, Lis has done well at Goztepe, but isnt good enough to make it in our team, so he is sold to Goztepe, who can now buy him knowing that he is good enough for them.
So this deal has worked for all parties, Southampton, Goztepe & Lis | |
