I got these for my birthday last year wore them once as i felt like Duncan Norvelle in them. use them in the garden.
Munchen.Munchen.Munchen. everytime for me. At 49 years old later this year, i literally wear nothing else than Fatface Clobber now in perpetuity, and Munchens are the best fit for growing old (sort) of gracefully.
Except they are so bloody narrow, can’t get my feet anywhere close to fitting into them.
Great looking but not the most comfortable I agree. Quite partial to Pumas. I have a couple of pairs of Puma G Vilas that are probably my most worn trainers.
When is casual not casual is it all just retro now. At the time I don't think think Nike air was casual it was mainly Addidas which was initially a scousers thing. L block will be able to come to the boards aid on this one. I always liked Kickers which have enjoyed a bit of a revival.

Wear black trainers as can get away looking reasonably ageless casual, and yes Kickers still cannot quite let them go, first pair from Kings Road, was a myth you wore them out and they got replaced free.

Sambas were my stock in trade trainers when they were new school and I've had many pairs (all blue)
Currently I'm on Nike Court which are a sop to my all time favourite classics being Nike Wimbledon's

In the last 5 or so years I've developed this problem where my left big toe is constantly convinced, in its own toe-like way, that it hasn't got enough room in any nice looking shoe I buy. I've always had the left foot slightly larger than the right one but these days it seems to be a full half size.
Somebody needs to start a website for people who have a half size difference in their feet - all the people with the same equal and opposite problem can sell the other shoes to each other. For example I'll sell a 9.5 right foot and a 9 left foot and keep the other two for myself. We'd all be like conjoined twins or summat.

They are fkng amazing….I’ve used them over and again and they work every time. They also come with bits and bobs you can add on to stretch your shoes specifically for a longer toe or bunion or whatever. And they work!
Wholly off topic but, that's going back a while and to a time when you could do day and night courses while working the rest of the time and the RICS set exams as a route to membership. Found him a bit amusing, but can't remember why. There was also a new lecturer called Joe Kehoe who we respected because he worked hard for us. Joe later moved to Cork.
