well it just might be other clubs had scouted him but we're unsure he would settle into EFL football and particularly the Championship..they light have seen enough of him in an average midtable side as you outnit to now take the risk
I agree Rich but typically we need a sale to finance further acquisitions... I'm hoping it's just rumour about Franco but it seems strange that he didn't figure at all at Hull there were 7 days between that game and Sunderland so maybe 20 mins as a sub....4 days until Boxing day...so time for recovery we have protected players under offer before
yes whilst Luke as manager/head coach as some responsibility to take there are too many issues which will be effecting players amd team harmony. The situation around Cabango and Darlings contracts....still not resolved despite the new regime presenting to them.....maybe they feel undervalued and this will spread to the rest of the squad....then we hear MPH is getting a lit of game time as a result of the loan terms and payment....imagine being a "home " player watching his average performances yet keeping you out of the team and reducing your earnings potential.....there are things going on outsiden outside of Williams control which he cannot influence. What other coach/manger would want to come here when it is.more than likely your centre back partnership will dissappear in January....prospects if attracting players are slim due to a wage cap.
Yes Williams is learning on the job but the situation is jot the best....
Franco was subbed....played his first full 90 minutes. We have nothing of substance coming off our bench to change things. I sometimes wonder what our fans expect especially after 8 years of decrying Kaplan and Levian for their lack if investment in players

I agree Keith, this forum is all about us fans expressing opinions .....what amazes me is at the start of the season before a ball was kicked several were convinced we were certain relegation candidates given out transfer dealings,as the season has gone on others have been negative even when we have won. Yes today was disappointing to throw away the lead and end up losing all of a sudden we have gone from not conceding and not scoring goals to scoring goals yet conceding ....especially at home. We are 10th we are in the top half of the table we are an average championship side.....how often have we heard on here the complaints over the last 8 years if the poor stewardship under the owners the lack of investment the rubbish transfer windows yet those same fans seem to expect us still to outperform. It's frustrating especially on days like today....then it must be asked are the likes of Key and Tymon truly championship defenders? they both look good going forwards but they are both suspect at times in defence. Of late Cabango and Darling have been open to criticism whereas earlier in the season they were immense and recognised on here as such.....lots made of the derisory new contract offers they had received....yet of late Cabango has been the subject of "libellous " claims of being a carthorse....Darling had a bit of mare today maybe the offers made reflected others opinions? So.lets sack the manager.....yes he is learning and who can argue we haven't seen an improvement in our play....we are scoring goals we are a more exciting watch......I'd love to hear from those who are calling for his head who they would suggest as a replacement.. Of late Williams has been criticised for subbing Franco he didn't today...also he switched our set up late in the second half we went to 3 at the back with Grimes between Cabango and Darling pushing Key into midfield....so it.wasnt doing the same ... Maybe we should take a step back and look at where we are given all that has happened. For.me yes I'm gutted we.lost again and that second half we capitulated but we are where we should be mid tableish...and enjoying our football most of the time and pleased our manger recognises we are nit good enough too
what do you think "local" pubs are already doing .....many show sports most nights to attract trade This pipe dream would never survive.....as has already been said stalwart Landore pub such as the Wern what closed....a new venture wouldn't survive. Whilst it.might do ok on a match day it would be deserted the rest of the time...or would not attract a large enough crowd to make it viable
