You can't underestimate what a bit of luck and winning the toss will do for your chances of winning.
We (Australia) seem to be getting more than our fair share of luck this Ashes, whereas last Ashes they were absolutely, desperately unlucky.

Pretty much correct on all of the above with the exception of Sydney 2000 Olympics. A bit of a shit place if you ask me, but it is generally acknowledged their Olympics was wonderful. Gillard and Rudd were worse than anything imaginable. Put us half a trillion dollars in debt after inheriting a healthy surplus ... go figure! |
