I think that the Wimbledon game must have had something to do with it, a shocking game that must have worried the hell out of everyone at the club. |

Brave decision by the club, lets get behind them and support them to the hilt. Word of mouth is the best advertising for anything, so lets start that here. Up the dale! |

Maybe it is a good way to get a look at him and see if he is worth taking a gamble on! |

One of the biggest failings yesterday was that we did not play to our strengths and were guilty of playing to theirs. Wimbledon were one of the worst footballing teams I have seem, but they were big and strong and kept the game compact. We play good attractive football that requires outlets from our crisp passing at pace. When they had a goal kick all 20 outfield players were within a 30 yard square box. At some point we should have made the pitch long and wide by moving at least one or two players out of this box. After the kick was taken and we won the ball back we were then having to run 30 yards to get into position so we could pass the ball around them. Had we done this we would have ruined their game plan. Also this game cried out for Dele, a couple of days earlier we were bullied by a big Rotherham team. I thought we may have learned our lesson from that game. Seeing Dele warm up at half time had me thinking that he would be on after 55 minutes or so. We saw what a difference he made, hopefully we can learn from this game and turn it around again. Up the Dale. |

I thought that up until 70 minutes we had it in the bag, quite easily. They never looked like scoring with that blonde haired kid on. Their substitutions made a big difference. |

I don't know why, I have not been on here long and have not heard many of the suggestions. I would be interested in hearing them though. Maybe if we get them all in one place, someone may take an interest? Keep the faith! |

In response to an earlier thread, it was suggested that the board should actively seek ideas from the fans, for turning around the low atrendances. Lots of people read this forum, including people in the club, so I thought maybe we should ask the question here and see what good ideas we in this forum can come up with. Any takers? |

I don't mind paying the £20 entrance fee. I really enjoy going, win lose or draw. I prefer the winning, but that won't happen every week. I get to the ground at about 2 o'clock and get home about 6. At £5 an hour I see it as good value for money. We try and play good football and quite often we do, we also seem to get punished for every mistake. That will balance itself out, I am sure! Come the end of the season we will be up there. Up the Dale!!!!!!! |

I recorded this weeks ago and have just got round to watching it, what a great piece of history, just shows what a bit of belief can do. |
