I had very similar take. Think Forshaw got the yellow for unsporting behaviour due to the number of pulls - can’t be booked for stopping an attack anymore once advantage is played. The penalty at the time I thought was stonewall as JCS swung him round by the shirt, Ward defo giving it until lino told him no. But as others said, from Lino’s angle looks like JCS grabbed first and I agree.
The 4 minutes was absolutely scandalous!!
I do think his lack of feel for the game and communication skills or lack is of often what leads to these tetchy games - Varane booking prime example of how not to manage a football match. [Post edited 25 Aug 23:15]

If it was the 16.00 last Tuesday at Lingfield, the 'off time' was 16:03:20, therefore, have to pay out - race hadn't started when the bet was placed. [Post edited 29 Oct 2014 16:40]

Unbelievable!
We're going down because we haven't been good enough. Must have been 16 games of poor refereeing at the beginning of the season...
The last three games we've shot ourselves in the foot. Villa - school boy defending to allow villa to score before half time. Fulham - Samba. Yesterday: Zamora, I don't know what he was thinking; M'bia naive and mindless; and Taarabt bottled it. But lets blame the ref [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Late, high, lazy and straight in the face, red card everyday of the week, intent is irrelevant. Do think the 4th official had a big say, if dowd or lino thought it was red advantage wouldn't have been played, dowd played advantage and lino never flagged |

Neutral perspective, Yellow card for me. Very harsh. Think ref may have changed his mind when nani was down. But reaction from Madrid players tell you everything. A team that love hounding the ref, not one complained about the tackle, says everything... [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

People say he's lazy etc. if he was playing today reckon he would have nicked a goal. He did it so many times last season, e.g. Stoke. Think it was a crazy decision letting him leave. |
