Bout 20 mins away for me and the home support has noticeably waned during successive relegations so ground car park shouldn't be that bad. Powder puff team that rarely score more than one goal in a game so easy win for the R's this one! |

Had body talk by imagination strategically lined up on the cassette player in me Morris Marina 1.3 Super - never did work! Yes, passed driving test before striking lucky few weeks later. Think Jennifer rush was last song of the night at clubs round that time. |

Bloody thorin sitting down and singing about gold the whole time no matter what you asked him to do! |

In the mood to dig out me old zx spectrum from loft this weekend now although not sure got any cassette player to load the games. Used to be a real skill getting volume at correct setting in order for load to work as I recall. Also leaving pile of coins on pause button when rudely interrupted for tea. Football manager games lot less complicated back then and some classics like Jetpac, Manic Miner. Daley Thompsons Decathlon was a killer using just fingers on keys for the 400m! |

Haha you noticed, too many beers and all fingers and thumbs on wife's mini iPad. Was meant to be general agreement with dave's take on things! (sorry willow) |

Why not short term? Can still pass, decent shot, would get stuck in/involved. Good enough for what we need now and would probably help bond team into more of a unit. If it were as simple as a vote then I'd be all for him joining. |

Totally forgot about this guy but did meet him many moons ago as client had a box and he was being wheeled around in sharp suit to do PR bit and have pics taken etc. Thought he was bit of a prick at the time with zero wish to be there. Stan also did rounds, didn't say a great deal but didn't need to, oozed character and presence. Anyway, interesting that Jeanne rated so highly as I never saw him play for us. |

If this gets Ned back in the starting line up and Dunne out then can take an early loss |

Agree past his best but didn't strike me as too bad a performance from him. Also thought Cahill did ok til last 5 mins. BUT wtf does Welbeck offer?! Couldn't wait til he got subbed, worst England player by far from my birdseye spot on sofa thousands of miles away. Surely I can't have been the only one shouting for him to get off? |
| Forum Reply | So anyone think we'll still qualify? at 23:13 19 Jun 2014
Just thinking a draw will probably do them at that stage so if not leading with 20 mins to go, I can't see them busting much of a gut for the win. So basically hoping they score first half while the game is still honest so to speak. Uruguay wont be cutting loose either if we are busy beating Costa Rica. I'm assuming final group games are played at same time? |

WTF have these last 9 pages been about?! Not been on here that long but any other visiting fans have usually shown a bit of respect even if they didn't necessarily agree with certain points being made. Suddenly we got random rabble appearing spouting crap that they can't back up and calling US arrogant, unbelievable. FM can feel myself getting all Kevin Keegan now and they''ve gotta come to our place and I will absolutely love it.......(assuming we win this time! Grrrr) |

Calculated and absolutely right decision in context of way the game was going but then I was also in favour of joey trying to take a man city player with him on final prem day haha |

Aware that some don't like him but surely he is massive in galvanising team spirit, competitive, combatative and plays with pride - reckon it has rubbed off on fair few in our squad and really showed in keeping us going right to the end of the season. Fair play (haha) to Neill today also, maybe not in the purest spirit of the game but set off and got him before the box! F#####g fab day and still buzzing from the moment that ball dropped in front of Bobby [Post edited 24 May 2014 23:58]

Weren't Logan and McManus tag team partners? Vague recollection of watching around 4pm on ITV on a Saturday afternoon with me grandad. Rollerball Rocco was my favourite at time, trying to think of other names around that time? Remember some big thing one day about mask being removed from Kendal Nagasaki? WWF was somewhat different to say the least and will now finally admit to taking little brother to see UK Rampage in Sheffield, must have been the only ones cheering on the bad guys such as Repo-man, million dollar man and undertaker. |

They have nothing to come at us with. Our only issue will be breaking them down. We WILL win, don't imagine it will be inspiring to watch but possession will be almost embarrassingly one sided in our favour. |
