We got used to supporting the cxxnts when Redknobb was here and he hired his mates from the 365 betting shop. The different in the quality and positivity in crowd support between now and then is amazing. That's because every player now seems to be playing for the team and not themselves, It's almost like it's the sixties and seventies again. Is Marti the new Alec? Sombreros for goalposts anyone? Thanks to Clive for the fantastic job he does with LFW, with a great sense of humour using proper English grammar and syntax too. [Post edited 24 Dec 20:14]

Getting such a positive press now that he lives on love street, lingers long on love street, he has a house and garden , I would like to see what happens…. He has wisdom and knows what to do - he has me and he has ……….. YOU!!! [Post edited 1 Dec 7:38]

And the Major also asked Basil - "Why do we bother, Fawlty?" That is a question that only the supporters who loyally turn up at Loftus Road week after week can answer. And why are the QPR management not publishing attendances anymore? What is the management trying to hide? Answers have to match quality of previous posts, such as "One flew into the Chelscum net" and "Shaun's Shanked Redemption" - to stop me going nuts. "Whos' Nourry now?'" for starters? By the way, my sign off below never seemed more relevant than today. [Post edited 6 Nov 14:25]

I’ll have a couple of pints of what you’re drinking, please. Name that brew. If it’s sodding lager, then we really are phoooked tonight. |

I’m starting off midday tomorrow at the Market Porter in Borough Market and working my way across London until I get to the White Horse about six. Then two hours later - unless my eight year curse is broken - the ref blows his whistle - and the day goes downhill. Been going since 1962- and I wonder why I bother now. Will I feel any differently at ten tomorrow evening? [Post edited 21 Oct 22:38]

I go to see the R’s several times a year - but I am like an albatross when it comes to seeing them picking up three points. The last time I saw them win was Ian Holloway’s first game back as manager, when they beat Naaarch 1-0 at Loftus Road about 8 years ago. I’m going to see the R’s on Tuesday night. What odds on me seeing them finish winning a rare 3 points? [Post edited 20 Oct 16:14]

Just when I'd forgotten that the complete useless sodding waster R'SWiPe ever turned up in W12, where he was never prepared to put in a shift in the hoops ...... and then Fred Man Rave stirs up the memory banks. SWP didn't even bother to celebrate his one and only lucky R's goal at Scumford Bridge, as he still considered himself to be a Chelscum player of some repute. Taraabt put the goal on plate for R'SWiPe and so he finally got one toe poke in to beat the keeper. The real positive of note was that his goal led to some of the best one liner headliners ever posted on this site : "Shaun's Shanked Redemption", "One flew into the Chelscum net" ,"The lack of Commitments" for starters. You'll notice that, like the epitaph on a gravestone, I've kept the legend at the foot of my posts, to remind myself that, for all the wasters we have had on the books, SWP was the pits when it came to the epitome of "can't be arsed" massively overpaid footballers. And all this written in the calm knowledge that we shall never see his like again. Please God. [Post edited 20 May 22:04]

Sounds like the Smiths, as does ..... "Did a military two step down the nape of my neck". What a fantastic line that one is. [Post edited 31 Mar 22:34]

Agreed the Smiths were just as good as the Doors.. but somewhat different. "Please, please please please let me get what I want this time". 53 points that is. |

"When you're strange .... when you're ........... strange." Just stay with the Doors.... Love the Doors. So, here's a count down of lines of lyrics from their albums to the end of the season. "She has a house and garden, I would like to see what happens," (line for 7 games to go in the championship.) "I've down so doggarn long, that looks like up to me" (line for 6 games to go in the championship.) "Not to touch the earth, not to see the sun, nothing left to do but run, run, run, let's run" (line for 5 games to go in the championship.) "Another flashing chance of bliss" (line for 4 games to go in the championship.) "Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why" (line for 3 games to go in the championship.) "White City, tonight, White City tonight, yeh!" (line for 2 games to go in the championship.) "Five to One" (song for 1 games to go in the championship.) Fo the Leeds game - The last game of the season - "Come on Rangers, light my fire" After the Leeds game ...... "This is the end ........" 53 points, [Post edited 31 Mar 22:29]

A semi colon could not cope with that amount of germs, a complete colon could not cope either; the Taylor Richard’s analogy is very appropriate, one is amazed that you can stack shyte that high. [Post edited 11 Mar 22:28]

I'd want Swansea to beat Bristol, who've lost their last 5 games on the bounce and are about to drift into the mine field bottom 8 if they lose tomorrow. [Post edited 8 Mar 21:51]
