| News Comment | Swansea City : Highly rated goalkeeper from Camrose U13 to the Swans at 16:42:48
He is technically 4 th in the pecking order but presumably training with the first team on occasions and playing every week with the u21. He has earned Wales u21 spurs with the successful current u21 team and chosen ahead of Ed Beach on occasions who has been on the bench for Chelsea no less. He has been coached to play out from the back and no doubt will have a ricket or two. Best to get them out of the way at u21 level. Vigoureax, McLaughlin, Broome, Watts, Hughes, Margetson. One hopes for a Roger Freestone figure who can 'hold the fort' for a decade out of the last three names. What is the point of the academy otherwise? Swansea should be the new home of Welsh international keepers with the highly rated current Welsh coach working for the club. |

Cymru's record away from home is very poor and always has been. Bale inspired wins in Lille v Belgium and v Turkiye in Baku. Very little else except over low ranking teams. Traditionally Wales would have approached this game cautiously and be defensive a play for a draw. Bellamy's front foot style may be a comeuppance early in his career. Mike Smith's 0-5 in Georgia, Coleman 1-5 Serbia. Losing in Moldova under Gould. |
| News Comment | Swans keeper and striker search intensifies over the next five days at 15:01:18
The goal keeper issued depends somewhat on what Margetson and Williams think of Fisher, Broome and up and coming Evan Watts 20 ish and Kit Margetson 17-18 yo. If Watts or Broome went on loan to somewhere for a season it could be there were in the long term planning for next season and number 1 or 2 An older keeper would then be seen as a stop gap until Watts or Brome get more experience. Broome is a mystery. He never played and was never reported as injured by Williams a or Duff. Hopefully whatever issues facing him are now resolved. |
| News Comment | Ronald to leave Swansea City : Transfer criteria at 21:58:28
Assists are not easy with Cullen who does not like heading the ball and Yates who is badly off form. Ronald put in a beautiful ball at head height and Cullen declined to head it in from 5-6 yards in one game I saw. McBurney would have buried it. So would have Kukharevych. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : The facts on players in and out and the strategy behind it at 16:07:13
Abdullai must play now and not see his place blocked by veterans Allen Walsh or Fulton. Wilson is in my opinion better than Cullen and Yates. Bates has a long deal but does not mean a fist team place beckons. Congreve Lloyd and Cotterill must feature from today. Bates is a big powerful fellow. |
| News Comment | Swans supporters consult Kieran Maguire and when did Andy start as Chairman ? at 19:49:16
The budget for the clubs July 2022 - July 2023 was written by Mr Winter who was it seems kept on for a period to form some sort of hand over perhaps? In my opinion it is reasonable for Coleman to not take responsibility for this period. Even if he was effectively in charge in May 23 he would only have 2 months out of 12 and needed bedding in time. I believe the owners are a lot wealthier than they are letting on and that is why they were able to start the Women team despite these poor figures. I also believe the fans and the rest of the world do not need to know the details of the LLC. This site should leave this subject alone for the good of the club. |
| News Comment | Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road at 22:07:24
Aerial duels won 25% . Norwich are not known as a uber physical team. I suppose to be expected as a ball playing side. I expect the best ball playing sides have beef as well. They can do everything well. |
| News Comment | Swansea City link to Hatters man at 15:51:19
He is a Wales u21 international and played alongside Josh Thomas. He has kicked on and Josh has done ok. He is thinking of switching to Scotland apparently. He is a fast aggressive forward like Josh. He "scored" the winner for Luton in the play off only to see it ruled out by VAR. |
