Does anyone know what "success" is this season?

Has Coleman outlined in any of his programme notes what is expected of Luke and the team this season. Promotion? Play-offs? Top 8 / top 10?
It would be good to know.

This has been rumbling on for about 30 years.
Of the four welsh clubs - one has shown they are more than capable of getting into Europe via the League Cup.
What great memories 2013 gave us. I don't think we realised how lucky we were at the time.

Birch was an excellent appointment at the time.
He worked well with Cooper. There was a clear strategy - using England U17 world cup winners on loan deals and it delivered two play-offs - under tricky circumstances with the pandemic.

And when Jenkins remained up until 2019 some good decisions were made. ie Jenkins pulling the Dan James to Leeds deal.

We need a Birch/Jenkins type person running the club day to day.
How much football league experience do Ken, Andy and Watson have combined?

Going back to the original story posted yesterday.
Coleman does not seem to know if there are any major changes planned.

Did Winter and Martin know that Coleman and Watson were coming in Spring 2023?

Mr Birch is respected throughout the football industry.
Moreover he was an excellent communicator when he was at Swansea.

A lot of our off field staff could learn so much from him.......

at least Winter and Birch had extensive knowledge of the leagues which was a great help during difficult times re: the pandemic.

I am sure our executive team are good decent people but they lack experience of english football.

And lets not forget the tweet which was sent on a Sunday evening in early May around Marsh and Winter. It was not helpful to say the least.

A very interesting article.

I would imagine the club has been "available" to buy the moment we were relegated.
If someone meets the asking price the club will be sold. Pretty much like the majority of clubs in this league.

Irrespective of what happens at Leicester, Steve did a very good job at Swansea - supported by the brilliant Trevor Birch. Two play-off's in very difficult circumstances.

And his achievements at Forest in such a short period of time were quite incredible.

I wonder that if Swansea's budget has been reduced season-on-season then maybe we could never have afforded to bring him back in the first place.

Also Brighton would have wanted their players to go out on loan to clubs who could be challenging at the top. Maybe Brighton looked at Swansea and thought we would struggle....?
