I've just re-read Paul Kearney's 'Monachies of God' books for the 3rd time.
I cannot believe no one has tried to make a series out of them yet. Religious wars, Columbus like exploration, werewolves, huge battles, and lots of nookie.
I remembering them finishing quite high once so I googled them; sure enough they were 3 places away from being Premier League founders in the last ever division 2 season.
I enjoyed the Chievo Verona one (I think it was them, they had a big angry bastard upfront, international player looked like he'd fit into the Dirlewanger Brigade.) I think I went to the Celtic one where I saw those shit half scarves for the first time.
All the small ones have been a bit meh, lets have a beer.
Wembley stadium downstairs ran out of beer for Metallica in 2007 which I've never seen before. Either we were really thirsty of they didn't re-stock after 'Live Earth' the day before.
Lots of thirsty rockers dashing about looking for one that still had beer to no avail like something out of post crash Weimar Germany or the first 10 mins of John Lewis clearance.
