I think personally the draw was a better result for us than Gateshead and would’ve been happy with this before kick off, given our poor run of form, lack of depth, and Gateshead’s good run of form. As for the question of countering the wide threats, the best thing to do would’ve been to set up with a back 5 and 2 advanced wing backs going toe-to-toe with them, but again this isn’t possible with the lack of numbers at the moment. |
| Forum Thread | Online ticketing issue at 18:44 11 Sep 2021
I am trying unsuccessfully to order tickets online for the Burnley match. But because the same ID number has been put onto the 5 season cards I bought, the ticketing system is only allowing for 1 ticket to be bought online. The ticket office is now closed so I cannot speak to anyone at the club until Monday but don’t ideally want to take my chances with the open sales. Any ideas? |

If anyone fancies joining the head to head league you need to join before saturday as I think that’s when the fixtures are created, its something a bit different as you play someone in the league each week and gain your points through your results. |

Thanks for the help, Ive been looking through my programmes, and whilst looking at getting rid of them, so far ive just bought more. They havent cost me too much at all and their all good to have, so I have been looking into getting any that are of significance in dales history books. Currently Im trying to find out Hillys first and last games in management for us, Tony Collins first game in management for us, and did Chris Lucketti ever play a game for us professionally? Im not bothering with the league cup final programme as its upwards of £1200 quid, but If you think theres any more games of significance you think i'd be worth getting my hands on please let me know as it would be a great help, and thanks for the feedback. |

Bit random but can anybody confirm reg Jenkins last rochdale appearance? Can’t find any details anywhere other than him leaving at the end of the 72/73 season. |

The teams needs to be entered for the head to head league before Friday if you wanted to join. As the fixtures are then processed and no one else can join. |

I've set up the head-to-head league again also if anyone wants to join. League Code: 48yv3a https://fantasy.premierleague.com Once you've created a team just go to join leagues and put the code in, something a bit different in that you play someone else in the league each week, person with the most points gets the win. |

Less than a week to go now until the premierleague kicks off. Get your teams in the head to head league before friday, because you wont be able to enter anymore after the friday cutoff due to the fixtures being generated. The league code is 1398977-318118 if you wanted to enter alonside the dale forum league. [Post edited 5 Aug 2018 13:41]

I created a head to head league also if anyone wanted to join, bit more traditional where two teams play each other each gameweek for points. All are welcome, thought it might be interesting to see how different the standings turn out. League details are 1398977-318118 on the fantasy premierleague website [Post edited 27 Jul 2018 21:29]

We starting up our annual fantasy football league again? If so it would be brilliant if whoever involved with the setting up could give us the details. |

| Forum Reply | Thoughts on Hilly's pre-match comments? at 10:04 21 Oct 2017
i took hillys comments as a bit of a rally cry, saying that we need to be brave committed and do everything we can on the pitch to get the results. This is echoed in calvins ifollow interview, sounds like its more to the players than us and that hes just trying to fire them up for a winnable game if we play like we can. |

what about numbers 12,13, 16 and so on. I get the difference and the connection made though. |

mark cullen looks impressive and the type of striker we need, if blackpool fail to go up may be worth a bid, and imagine us getting matty done back aswell. would be teo great signings, we can dream. [Post edited 28 May 2017 16:30]

Imo the defence needs stregthening first and foremost, i dont think tanser is good enough in lb as he is too slow and as a result struggles with the switch in play and getting up and down the wing. I do however think he would make a really good centre half. So for me i think we need another lb and another right footed centre half, after that another central midfielder maybe, i would say that cannon is perfect for that roll but him and raff look like they will be on fire down the right for the start of the season games. Then also another proven striker maybe. But defenitely defensive cover needed |

I honestly always thought he was a good player, no higher than league one or two. I just thought he always lacked the ability to go past players because he wasnt the quickest or most agile, but he was always a good passer and finisher when given the chance, and i thought he shouldve been given a chance up front. so why not now? if he plays up front or just off the striker then I think theres certainly a place for him, as he offers something different to calvin and hendo, and is arguably as good as bunney imho. |
