I keep seeing posts regarding comments SG made at the EGM. Could someone confirm what was said for those were not in attendance to help provide some context? |

Could someone please elaborate on what SG said about postponing Saturdays game? Also earlier in the thread some mentioned a second LOI has gone in, was this confirmed at the EGM? |

I didn’t find him rude at all. He made a very good point which I reckon a lot of people will want to know the position regarding a vote reset and Murray didn’t grasp it at all to begin with For what it’s worth, I think any member who’s already voted should be given the option to change their vote on the back of today’s announcement |

It’s a very concerning predicament we find ourselves in. It does feel like the voters are being held to ransom to accept this deal. We should be walking to the right solution, not just running to a potentially fatally solution. I felt for Gauge at one point and felt a lot of the stick he got online was a tad unfair. But as time has gone on my stance has definitely changed. He seems to want to recoup as much of the money he’s owed above anything else. Some might say that’s fair but when his inept leadership has dragged us to this point. He should be first and foremost securing the club the best investment opportunity and not the first chancer to brandish £2m in a briefcase. |

I think I may have missed something What was the swipe at the fans following the collapse of the takeover? |

Jamie Sarsfield is definitely adopting the fighting talk tonight isn't he? Simon Gauge definitely got quite abrasive with quite a few questions. Especially around George Delves performance review |

That's how the last forum with Jim Bentley was done. He was sat at the bar for the 2nd half of the forum where the board did their bit |

And booing EEL each time he gets near the ball. Don't get why he's been made the scapegoat |

That lot in the middle of the sandy showing their lack of class yet again booing the team on to the pitch |
| Forum Reply | Goodnight Vienna at 19:52 22 Apr 2023
To be fair they're pretty much saying they'll only support the team if they're in the efl or are at the top of the national league. I'd rather have fans ready to be in the trenches and stick with the club through thick and thin |
| Forum Reply | Goodnight Vienna at 17:51 22 Apr 2023
If that's your attitude don't bother coming back even if we are near the top |
| Forum Reply | Board Update at 13:32 28 Mar 2023
do you think theres any chance the club will release the findings from this club review? Just with there being a lot of fans and obviously the trust holding a large number of share, it would be an interesting read. |

At least we've finally got to the root of your issue with the sandy lane. Up until this season its been great in there and never any aggro. Yeah there's a few idiots this season who seem to go out of their way to cause bother but 90% of the fans I'm there are well behaved and go for the same reason as you and I. Also there's anti social behaviour in that top corner of pearl Street frequently from what I can gather, what's your suggestion to solve that? Close the entire stadium and play behind closed doors whilst a select few gather in the car park for tea and sandwiches? Sadly there's poor behavior at every ground in the country. The majority of which are all seater stadiums so it just makes your post redundant. |

There's definitely bigger issues that need addressing before worrying about who I've been stood next to in the sandy the last 10 years. I go to watch a game of football and get behind the team. I choose to stand. Some prefer to sit. Each to their own. You seem to want to force people to sit down in a stand when they'd rather be stood just so they can chat with someone new. |
| Forum Reply | The Sandy at 08:00 27 Mar 2023
You suggested removing seats covered in bird poo? Do you think the club are going to spend money ripping out seats and converting it into a safe standing area which would have to meet efl requirements when there's already a dedicated stand for this and barely have a pot to p*so in? |
| Forum Reply | The Sandy at 07:17 27 Mar 2023
I take it you haven't seen the news the last couple of years where there's been rule changes to facilitate safe standing because a large number of people want to stand at games? Like i said in a previous post, why eradicate our only standing option when there's plenty of seating option alternatives we can offer away fans. [Post edited 27 Mar 2023 7:23]

In a nutshell you're talking nonsense. There's no valid justification for turfing out loyal supporters from the sandy. It makes more sense to give some of the pearl Street to the away supporters and fans still have the option to sit or stand. You're wanting to take away one option entirely. I'm not against change etc if there's a valid argument which you haven't been able to provide. Stick to coming up with the songs pal. [Post edited 26 Mar 2023 21:51]

When we are struggling for support as it is, you want to alienate a core group of loyal supporters and turf them out of a stand they've likely been using for decades in a lit of cases. I'd only be in favour of closing the willbutts to away fans if they were moved to the corner of the pearl Street nearest willbutts. I made the switch to the sandy about 10 years ago and for me it's really added to my matchday experience and would never go back to the pearl Street end |

Really don't agree with Hendo being dropped. One of the few players actually trying and can be a leader on the pitch. |

Think it needs mentioning about the group at the back of the Sandy. Another flare set off despite them bringing down one of our fans the other week at Salford and to chant no pyro no party as well. To say they got the "Overcoaters" together to get behind the team, they only became vocal today when we went 2-0 down with their National League chants, they've not really done much to get behind the team lately when they need it moat. Yeah the football is dire but I thought the point of getting thst group together was to get behind the team? All I've heard lately is chants about sex offenders, a severely outdated Joey T chant and now berating the team. I thought the group were a breathe of fresh air to begin with and helped improve the atmosphere but now it's just pathetic and if you call them out on it you get labelled boring etc |
