Anyone got one of these for streaming games? on 17:02 - Feb 19 with 2616 views | AnotherJohn | I've just done an installation on an Android quad core box, and I found the easiest way to proceed, after loading XBMC from http://xbmc.org, was to load Fusion (google 'fusion xbmc'). That in turn will automatically load most of the addons needed. It will update XBMC to a customised 'xbmchub', which makes a wide range of extras available. I was able to easily find an on demand version of the Everton vs Swans game to play. Take a look here: http://www.xbmchub.com/ No doubt there are many ways to set up a system. Another one that saves you the trouble of loading the addons individually is xbmctalk (Xfinity). There are tutorials for both on Youtube. I think Mashup is probably only on Xfinity, but I quite liked xmbchub and the support website seems very good. [Post edited 19 Feb 2014 17:08]

I think xbmchub is best to help with set up especially for newbies. Mash up is not part of xfinity any more it's a separate source

Found the overlay a little intrusive so changed changed the theme back and can run it as a video add on. Thanks again for that suggestion. This thread is gold.

How do you put it as just add on I'd prefer do that have xbmchub as base and I stream as addon

be careful if you jail break your ipad. certain apps will not work after you do that, sky go for one. do some googling first in case you have affected apps and check out possible solutions
Anyone got one of these for streaming games? on 16:01 - Feb 20 with 2350 views | GW83 | Buy something called Raspberry Pi if you have a bit of technical knowledge (even if you don't it's not that difficult if you follow tutorials). Cheaper than these boxes and will run XBMC perfectly. I have two running, one downstairs and one upstairs and both linked to my PC which I use as a server to stream films I have on hard drives via UPNP.

As a cheap and cheerful solution for XBMC it can't be beat. Brilliant piece of kit. Got two myself now. If you aren't using XBMC though it's no use as a media centre.

Agree, great piece of kit. There's an XBMC Iphone app that works much better than any remote I've used, free as well, called xbmcRemote.

Anyone got one of these for streaming games? on 21:09 - Feb 27 with 2048 views | Jackfath | Ok. Fellow geeks i need your help. Today I've set this up using a pi, an sd card etc. all this was done using an Ethernet cable. I also bought a USB wifi dongle http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7811UN-150Mbps-Wireless-Adapter/dp/B003MTTJOY/ The remote on my phone works when the Ethernet is in. Take the Ethernet out and try to run using wifi, nothing. No xbmc or remote. I plugged the USB into the laptop earlier to configure it etc and it says it's working fine. When it's in the pi it's flashing blue like it's working but nothing. Help!
