Think with De Guzman and Shelvey there can help in the middle if needed and De Guzman can give good deliver. Even though Dyer offers a higher work rate on the right I think some craft is needed somewhere on the pitch.

They lost to us the season they won the Premier League, so individual results count for nothing.
As much as I'd love to see it, I think today is one we just want to go and get it over with.
A 2-0 defeat would be respectable given our comparative form at present

Surprised most people have left out Pozuelo, I think he and Pablo could cause them problems. I think Alvaro does deserve to start after his impact against Fulham and Valencia, really unlucky not to get an assist against Fulham and two goals against Valencia. I'd go with this

I'm more with HJ than ML, I just can't see us being able to sit back for 90 minutes and keep a clean sheet against City. We might as well go for it, as I think they do struggle a lot more when teams go at them a bit more as there defence does have some major problems without Vincent Kompany.

i'd move shelvey in instead of poz and play canas alongside leon in front of the defence, this would strengthen the midfield and force citeh wide, where they are not quite so effective. instruct shelvey to harass toure and i thinkwe can get a good draw out of this. One in the eye for those who have written us off before a ball has been kicked.
