Good morning folks.
I know this is not important in either the grand scale of evil f*ckery that’s gripping the entire world or the magnitude of todays monumental clash with the Blades , but does anybody know of a decent traditional cafe or pie and mash restaurant in and around the W12 area ? Preferably away from the madness of Westfield and it can be a little walk away from LR or whatever .
Just need to meet my son for some brunch but there really isn’t anything other than fast food stuff around Shepherds Budh these days or cafe’s that do avocado on toast for £20….unless people know of hidden gems tucked out of the way .

If you like falafel, Mr Falafel makes the best wrap I know of. It's in the market just off the Uxbridge road.

How about the Embassy Cafe, just a few minutes walk from Latimer Road tube? You can walk to the ground from there in 20 mins or head back to the tube and it's a couple of stops to Shepherd's Bush.. |  |

We travel up from the south coast so are pretty hungry by around 1pm for a 3 o'clock ko. Cafe Louche on the Askew is ok. Friendly service, medium priced and reasonably smart appearance for a cafe. Workers breakfast is for big appetites.

I usually go to Louche cafe on the Askew road if I'm up to the Bush early enough. Askew cafe is also decent and more traditional, but not always open on a Saturday morning for some strange reason |  |

I live in Australia and we have zero options for cafes over here. Whenever i'm back in West London, i head to the Ritz Cafe in Stamford Brooke, hands down the best cafe in West! Fantastic food and great old school service. | | | |
