With Pederson, Grimes, and Darling all off the books by next season there should be a lot more money in the coffers to bring in quality players who make us better. I'd rather have 2/3 higher earners (if they deserve it) who improve the team than 5-6 signings for the sake of it.

How about the offer that Darling is definitely going to get ?
Do we do the same ?

I'd say yes. Delcroix would basically be a straight swap for Darling in terms of wages, although we would have to find the transfer fee.

O'Brien is significantly less likely.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

There's one thing him getting another offer, him signing it is another question.

It Will possibly depend if Williams (or his replacement) is likely to play 2 or 3 CB's next year?

If 3 then there's a case that we would need to retain Darling and Sign Delcroix to play alongside Cabango. Also need another for cover (unless Naughton stays on) someone in the Low camp perhaps who I suspect will have lower wage demands.
