There are problems every day on the central line, took half an hour to get from Ealing to White City on Wednesday, shortage of trains apparently

We travel in from Redbridge on the central line and every Saturday they say that there is a shortage of trains.Sometimes the gaps between the trains are 10-12 minutes and they are more crowded as a result. |  | | |

Central line
Ongoing service disruption
We are sorry for the continued disruption on the Central line caused by an abnormally high number of motor failures across the fleet. Our engineers are working around the clock to improve the situation while ensuring the safety of our colleagues and customers at all times.
We have enhanced bus services at some affected stations in east London to give Central line customers better and more frequent connections to other lines. In addition, we will soon be introducing a temporary Central line timetable which will make better use of the available trains and remove uneven gaps in service.
In the meantime, we are advising Central line customers to plan ahead, allow more time for their journeys and to consider alternative routes if travelling into or through central London. For more information, visit our travel advice page. |  |

Central Line: Severe delays White City to Ealing Broadway and West Ruislip and Leytonstone to Hainault and Epping due to a shortage of trains. MINOR DELAYS on the rest of the line. London Underground tickets will be accepted on Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railways, Greater Anglia, Elizabeth Line and local bus services via any reasonable route. |  |
