2023 All Ireland(s) Thread 13:15 - Apr 23 with 9763 views | MrSheen | Sneaked off to an early start under the cover of our distractions but bursts into life this weekend. Predictions? Are Cork able to challenge Limerick in the hurling? Everyone else looks about the same, six or more points a game behind them. No idea about the football, doesn't seem to be a particular favourite. Still lamenting the new calendar. I'll just be over for the finals, but I used to love being there for the provincial fianls and the semis.
2023 All Ireland(s) Thread on 14:15 - Apr 23 with 7570 views | newgolddream | Limerick and Kerry to retain their titles are my predictions. New calendar is disappointing. A six month window with no inter-countyaction is ridiculously long.

Down to 14, only 2 ahead. Waterford in with a chance.

2023 All Ireland(s) Thread on 16:24 - Apr 23 with 7395 views | TomS | I wasn't expecting Limerick to look vulnerable, and for Waterford to make them sweat. Better sides than Waterford will have taken a lot of hope from that performance. The football is wide open. I don't expect a Dublin win as they need to take the time to build a new team, but am happy to be proven wrong.

Dublin Kerry mayo Tyrone Galway - outsiders Derry and Armagh Tailteann Cup will be competitive. I do fancy Down for it

Talking a lot of sense there. Galway looking a good prospect to get over the line this time. Well done also to Down. Could make the Ulster final for the first time in years.

I'd definitely fancy Derry to win Ulster again this year, and they may well be a good outside bet for the All Ireland Final
2023 All Ireland(s) Thread on 00:31 - Apr 25 with 6951 views | CLAREMAN1995 | Big Joe Lumley is a world class keeper compared to the poor fcuker who started for Clare yesterday .Pretty much at fault for 4 goals including the cardinal sin of turning his back on the shooter for the 5th goal. Down to play Limerick in Limerick Saturday evening so with that loss its pretty much over in April for the Clare boys. Hopefully QPR can pick up the 3 points before that ass whooping and make our safety official

I was born next door in Louth and was dragged on many a Sunday afternoon to Croke Park to see Louth exit every championship at the earliest possible opportunity (great grounding for following QPR cup competitions). But after a move I played all my Gaelic football in the Royal County from u12’s up to minor with Messrs O’Malley, Flynn et al. We had some team. But its always still an Lu score I look out for first, and still haven’t forgiven Meath for 2010.

Waterford truly awful against The Blood and Bandage (bow the knee) but the win will leave Cork unprepared for Tippppppppppp next weekend. But the ball has been thrown in now.

Munster hurling is the proverbial bucket of crabs, only Ulster football comes close. You can see Galway and Kilkenny with their feet up, waiting for whoever finally crawls out.

As a respected coach and very knowledgable GAA man Brian can you tell me your opinion on the square ball that was obvious to the whole planet yet Limerick were awarded the goal. Clare matched up well and brought the battle but have Waterford next which brings in the Davy effect and anything goes. Cork will beat Tipp I think ,remember the 3 gift goals in Ennis otherwise they would have o points

Didn't see the Limerick goal, Bannerman, sorry. The game was only on GAAGO in Ireland so missed out on a cracking match. Waterford were awful. Hard to explain how bad they were - puckouts, defending, desire, conditioning, cohesion. Really awful at everything. Hard to see them turn it around any time soon. De Búrca out for the season, too.

2023 All Ireland(s) Thread on 11:17 - May 14 with 6273 views | MrSheen | Waterford should secede from Munster and apply to join Leinster. 1) They’d get to play Wexford and Kilkenny more often, which would create some local excitement. 2) They’d have a better chance of qualifying. 3) it would make a better Leinster championship. They let Galway in!
