Nathan Dyer on 12:32 - Feb 13 with 1840 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | That four year contract looks even more ridiculous now. He'll be loaned out to Championship clubs for the remainder of his contract before we part ways with little to no transfer fee received.

Nathan Dyer on 12:27 - Feb 13 by A_Fans_Dad | If this is correct that it is very bad news for him and not very good news for us. We are now down one winger, I know we have Ayew, but he looked slow in comparison to our other wingers and even Olsson. Will we have to get Barrow back? Can we get Barrow back? |
If this is correct....? I spoke with the guy himself - it's not as if I heard from a mate who heard from the window cleaner who heard it from.....

Hindsight's a wonderful thing though. He was obviously very much in PC's plans and I thought he started well enough yesterday.

Nathan Dyer on 13:10 - Feb 13 with 1686 views | monmouth | Oh balls. One of our very best 2010-2014. Went off the boil with his confidence but still one of my favourite players of our second golden era. Bad achilles injuries are killers for fast running, or indeed any running for many. He'll get the best treatment though, so I hope you can beat it little man.

Nathan Dyer on 20:04 - Feb 12 by dickythorpe | Unfortunately yes. If he's torn it or snapped it then at his age he will never recover his fitness required for PL level. I think and I hope it is just a light tear. If it had snapped I doubt he'd have been able to go off like he did. |
If he had torn it there was no way he would be able to walk off or even stand up for that matter.

Nathan Dyer on 10:19 - Feb 13 by stevethejack | Ruptured Achilles tendon, 7-8 months out, had a chat with him at Morriston hospital. He's gutted. Wished him all the best. |
Ruptured mine 4 years ago playing squash. Rupture is medically worse than a snap, as with a snap the surgeon can sow the tendons back together and potentially make them stronger. With a rupture (picture a frayed rope with a just a couple of those frayed ends still joined) you need to wait for it to heal itself (was in a boor for 2 months, took me 4-6 months to learn to walk again properly, and out for 12 months, but clearly I'm no PL footballer). The rupture then weakens the leg and if you play a stop start sport, like squash or football, then my consultant said it's very likely to happen again now the leg is weakened. Having said all that, I took up running (gave up squash!) and did my first ultra marathon last year! So you can come back, just age not on his side now and now a weakness in that leg sadly. To the OP - if had scored and hadn't celebrated, I'd have been pssd off with him. He was only on loan there and a bit part player.

Nathan Dyer on 14:30 - Feb 13 with 1381 views | perchrockjack | I ruptured my Quad 6 yrs ago and its ok now but has left my leg weaker It curtails certain activities ,eg front crawl swimming or any involving the leg in a squat position. If I were to do a squat , I would have major problem in my groin area I m sure Dyer will get the best help He ll need it but if it has ruptured ,he s fecked. I don't it has however looking at the way he managed top hobble off, which begs the question WHERE WAS THE STRETCHER

Jordan is a plodder, not what we want in the position he came in to replace Llorente. He needs to up his sprinting and closing down and ability to win a header.

Loved yesterday. Great feeling all round. But Ayew was the slight blip. Plodder...that's the word. And yes it's his first game and a sub and all that, but when I saw him with Villa I didn't think any different of him. Going to have to up his game/workrate to make an impact in this PC team that's for sure. We are way better than that terrible Villa team that went down. Hope he can do it and certainly will give him every chance, for now.

Nathan Dyer on 16:14 - Feb 13 with 1239 views | Pegojack | Give Ayew a break, fellas! I don't recall him doing anything wrong in his cameo. He hardly touched the ball because he never got the opportunity, but I remember thinking he's doing his share of closing down the centre backs well enough, in fact a lot more energetically than Llorente, who was carrying a knock, but who isn't a sprinter at the best of times.
Nathan Dyer on 17:37 - Feb 13 with 1104 views | sP7qupUf | Out for the season and surgery to follow. Dreadful for Dyer, but why on earth did we give him a four year contract? Has hardly played for us for the best part of three seasons by the end of this one. Was struggling with form anyway and will now be on our books for a couple more years, probably out on loan. That said, I wish him well.

Nathan Dyer on 18:14 - Feb 13 by Al_Bundy | Which Leicester player was involved in the injury to Dyer? |
Well Fuchs went through the back of him early on, then I think it was Huth the second time, but he pulled up on the touchline a few moments later. So it might be completely unrelated to those two acts of thuggery but then again it probably didn't help.

Nathan Dyer on 18:57 - Feb 13 with 957 views | dickythorpe | I wish him all the best in his recovery, he's been tremendous for us. I especially think his 2010-14 period was his career high. I fear we may have seen his last appearance in a white shirt.
