Makes sense now. I'm not having that and nor should any of us. It's not supposed to be reliant on what BBC London or anyone else are doing. If it's not on the radio they need to send a couple of commentators down there, that's how it's worked all these years. Greetings Compadres, this will be my first ever match thread from the Far East. 10pm on a Saturday night - very nice, better than the usual 10am definitely. Only downside is the place we booked turns out to be the self-titled 'Times Square' of Ho Ch Minh City. Sitting on the 8th floor balcony and the sound from below is deafening. 5 different songs blaring out for a start, one of which is Killing Me Softly. Good team selection though. |
Mad place HCM- Good luck with crossing the road and not getting ripped off. Still, an amazing country to travel, was there 15 years ago, did all the touristy things which were obviousy very interesting bearing in mind their recent history and Ha Long Bay Sapa in the north are beautiful. Yu there for long Brookers?!

3 weeks Fred. Mekong Delta tomorrow for 3 days, overnight train, some nice beach place for 4 days, Hanoi then 9 day motorbike tour up to the border with China. Wife's 40th. I actually find the drivers not too aggressive. Well obviously there are billions of mopeds but they do yield, so far. Probably overpaid for. Couple overpaid for a couple of things after thinking I'd done a good job with the haggle but nothing major, really cheap country certainly. I'm full of goals mate!
