Not a great week for the club. Go out to Lge2 opposition in the football league trophy and by all accounts play terrible, no show on live tv (AGAIN) and now the kids go out of the FA youth cup to a Lge2 Academy side.

The fact Notts county are league 2 is irrelevant, the league the youth team are in is the north east version of dales. Football league Youth alliance.

Last night the team played well and were on top at 1-0 and had a couple of really good chances to kill the game off. Unfortunately they didn't and conceded twice but they didn't deserve to lose. Special mention must go to the 15 year old keeper for Dale who was making his debut for the youth team. He played very well. The entire 1st team coaching staff were watching on from the stands.
