No where near good enough. Didn't hear "It's hard, it's difficult"

Seriously though, what a pleasure to see someone smiling, happy and confident!

Well done Chris.

I am waiting on Clive's write up. Not quite sure what he is going to do now Bagpuss has gone.

Never knowingly understood

Agree he came across very well. Too soon for him to even be considered and the training still looks basic from the clips (in know only 3 minutes) but as a caretaker exactly what you want to hear, time for the players to repay the support, abit of flair and basically let's get out and attack them. If we do get I am coming round to the idea and it would appear we have good football people in place now.

I would bring back Bards from the USA to be the number 2, leave Chris to focus on getting the youth side sorted out and they all report in to Les.

Thought he came across very well, refreshingly honest. With the departure of the con man it's like the clouds clearing. Well done Chris.

Thought he came across really well and as above great to see a smiling, happy and confident person giving the presser.
Lets make sure we get the right person in and if that takes weeks then so be it.

Comes across as a good guy, although the Les, Chris and Bond Bondy McBond tactics and squad combination decision making will be 'interesting'.

Suddenly, a dusty relic appears in the corner of Bondy's eye....

Just watched it back again and the more I watch and listen would be inclined to give him the job till the end of the season especially if Tim is demanding more money. I think his line up tomorrow will be:

Green

Isla
Onouha
Caulker
Yun

Sandro
Barton
Henry

Vargas
Austin
Adel

Nice to see a smiling face but disappointed to hear of decision making by committee. would have liked him to have been in sole charge. Better start talking about tomorrows substitutions now.

"We need to be on the front foot, giving maximum energy and showing some flair. We need to get fans off their seats!"

Stick with that and you'll do alright for me son.

Sorcery and witchcraft. I'm not paying for that sort of sht. Sit back, defend deep, talk about what a good side Southampton are please.

I would be surprised if both Caulker and Ned are both in CB positions tomorrow. At home for the best part of the season we have been reasonably solid apart from a few lapses so I cant see CR/Bond risking dropping Dunne, who whilst not Usain Bolt, has a physical presence to knock opposition forwards about and head everything being crossed into the box.

Green

Isla
Ned
Dunne
Yun

Barton
Sandro
Fer
Hoilett

Vargas
Austin

Would love to see Vargas up front with Austin. 15 games to go never going to win away have to go for it at home.

Team for me:

Green
Isla, Onuoha, Caulker, Yun
Barton, Sandro, Fer
Taarabt
Vargas, Austin

Flexible players and system, Sandro playing deep so he can slot into a back three to allow our full-backs to provide the width when we attack. Also the option of Taarabt and Vargas drifting wide if we need to go 4-1-4-1 at some point in the game.

Subs: McCarthy, Dunne, Hill, Henry, Hoilett, Zarate & Zamora

Sandro's not playing. Only just back in training and got some work still to do

Good luck to him tomorrow. Young and making a step up, would be great if he proved himself capable of keeping us up so the club can forgo rushing an appointment. First time I've enjoyed watching one of those for yonks

Performed in very well the presser. Deftly handled the inane and divisive questions, and was much more coherent and intelligible than the last time I saw Tim Sherwood speaking (called us Palace and mumbled some nonsense about investment).

I hope he does well.

Very credible performance, honesty, humility, pride all evident.

"Walking out tomorrow sat in the dug outs next to Ronald Koeman, that's a proud moment for my family".

Well done sir...
