if 85 is our target 15:47 - Feb 13 with 1527 viewsthemodfather

then 29 pts from 17 games....seems doable and if say follow the average of our last 4 games, 7 pts...we'll get 28 pts with one game left
never that easy but 8 home games will be crucial and we will need pts at places like bournemouth, charlton and barnsley.

what do you expect with 85 points?

auto or playoffs

for me 92 is promotion

and if that aint good enough then so be it closer we can get to it the better

playoffs 80 should be enough

Listen to the band play!

75 has been enough for playoffs in each of the last 5 years.

I think we'll tail off quite a lot now, lack of goals and more porous defence will probably see us draw games we were scraping wins in earlier in the season.

I can't see us getting much past the 75/76 points mark.

It's going to be a high points total for second place this year I reckon - 85 might not be near enough. You'd expect Leicester to score between 90-100 points depending on form and Burnley to get close to 90. Derby and Forest will be pushing 80+ so we've got to be looking at high 80s if we want second. I think we might fall a little short - 86 is realistic though we could go quite a bit under that if current form keeps up.

auto....i'm sure 85 pts is good enough over many years...
with this league so tight and teams beating each other, maybe a lower total but GOALS will be vital, doh!

Looking back at previous years, 2nd spot has been gained by anything between 79pts (twice in last 6 years) and 91pts (once), never more than that. So basically you cannot tell. This year is still tight and Leicester haven't run away with anything yet. Mid-80s may well be good enough.

the target is second and unfortunately we're third right now.

Leicester
Forest
Burnley
Derby
QPR
Brighton

That's honestly how I think it will finish, unfortunately.

Nothing unfortunate about it, assuming we beat Brighton in the final, obviously.

75/76 points? You are kidding right? You honestly see us getting just another 16 or 17 points from now untill the end of the season? Thats lass thana point per game and thats relegation form. There is no way that we are going to go from a team in 3rd spot to a relegation form team overnight. Not even with Austin out for the rest of the season
